Anthony Suau
Anthony Suau is an American photojournalist and documentary filmmaker, based in New York City. Life and work Suau was born in Peoria, Illinois. He worked for the ''Chicago Sun-Times'', and ''The Denver Post'', was a contract photographer for ''Time'' from 1991 to 2009, and has produced a number of stories for ''National Geographic'' magazine. He has dedicated his life and career to documenting the effects of international events on the lives of people around the world. Suau has published five books, including ''Beyond the Fall'', a ten-year photography project portraying the transition of the Eastern bloc starting from the fall of the Berlin Wall, and ''Fear This'', with American journalist and author Chris Hedges and blurbs by Howard Zinn and P. Paloma Suau
Paloma Suau (born c. 1972) is a Catalan– Puerto Rican film and video director, writer, editor and actress. Suau's father, Gabriel Suau, is a Spaniard who immigrated to Puerto Rico, where he became a well known television figure. Her mother is Camille Carrion, a well known Puerto Rican actress. Suau's second cousin is Richard Carrión, president of Banco Popular de Puerto Rico. Biography Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Paloma Suau acquired her bachelor's degree for Film at New York University Tisch School of the Arts in 1994. Jean Suau
Jean Suau (1503–1566) was a French Roman Catholic bishop and cardinal. Biography Jean Suau was born in the Castle of Rieumes in Gascony in 1503. He studied canon law and civil law. Moving to Rome, he became an auditor, first of the Apostolic Palace, then of the Roman Rota. On 20 December 1555 he was elected Bishop of Mirepoix. He was subsequently consecrated as a bishop. Pope Paul IV made him a cardinal priest in the consistory of 20 December 1555. He received the red hat and the titular church of San Giovanni a Porta Latina on 13 January 1556. He participated in the papal conclave of 1559 that elected Pope Pius IV. Under Paul IV, he served as Prefect of the Apostolic Signatura. He opted for the titular church of Santa Prisca on 26 April 1560. He resigned the government of Mirepoix sometime before 31 January 1561.
