Stéphen Boyer
Pierre Jean Stéphen Boyer (born 10 April 1996) is a French professional volleyball player. He is a member of the France national team. The 2020 Olympic Champion and the 2017 World League winner. At the professional club level, he plays for Jastrzębski Węgiel. Career In 2017, Boyer was appointed as a member of the French national volleyball team for the FIVB World League by the head coach Laurent Tillie. On 9 July 2017 France, including Stéphen Boyer, won 2017 World League after beating Brazil in the final. Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the programme at the Atlanta 1996. The adapted version of volleyball at the Summer Paralympic Games is sitting volleyball.
