Stångebro Ishall
Stångebro Ishall, also known as Stångebrohallen, is an arena in Linköping, Sweden. It opened in 1975 and, after having undergone a series of renovations over the years, currently has a capacity of 4,700 people during sport events. It served as the home arena for the ice hockey team Linköpings HC until the 2004–05 Elitserien season, when the now-named Saab Arena replaced it. The Swedish Hockey League (officially SHL; sv, Svenska Hockeyligan) is a professional ice hockey league, and the highest division in the Swedish ice hockey system. The league currently consists of 14 teams. The league was founded in 1975, and while Swedish ice hockey champions have been crowned through various formats since 1922, the title and the Le Mat Trophy have been awarded to the winner of the SHL playoffs since the league's inaugural 1975–76 season. Saab Arena
Saab Arena, formerly named Cloetta Center between 2004–2014, is an arena in Linköping, Sweden. It opened in September 2004 and holds 8,500 people during sport events and 11,500 during concerts. On its opening, it became the new home ice for the ice hockey team Linköpings HC, replacing Stångebro Ishall. The arena has hosted a Melodifestivalen semi-final five times: in 2005, 2008, 2011, 2017 and 2020.
