Reuben Sturman
Reuben Sturman (August 16, 1924 – October 27, 1997), sometimes referred as the "Walt Disney of Porn", was an American pornographer and businessman from Ohio, who co-founded sex toys company Doc Johnson. He was featured as a subject in Eric Schlosser's 2003 book on underground economies, '' Reefer Madness: Sex, Drugs, and Cheap Labor in the American Black Market''. Life and career Sturman, the son of immigrant Russian Jews, grew up on Cleveland's East Side. He served in the Army Air Forces during World War II and then went on to study at Case Western Reserve University, graduating in 1948, before starting his own business selling comic books from his car. By the late 1950s, his business had swelled to a major wholesale magazine company with affiliates in several American cities. Walter Sturman
Walter Sturman (29 August 1882 – 24 July 1958) was an English cricketer. Sturman was a right-handed batsman who fielded as a wicket-keeper. He was born at Leicester, Leicestershire. Sturman made his first-class debut for Leicestershire against Kent at Aylestone Road in the 1909 County Championship. He made 23 further first-class appearances for the county, the last of which came against the touring Australians in 1912. In his 24 first-class matches for Leicestershire, he scored 273 runs at an average of 10.11, with a high score of 46. Sturmanite is a rare sulfate mineral with the chemical formula Ca6 Fe3+2( SO4)2.5( B(OH)4)( OH)12 · 25 H2O. It crystallises in the tetragonal system and it has a Moh's hardness of 2.5. Sturmanite has a bright yellow to amber colour and falls in the ettringite group. It was named after Bozidar Darko Sturman (born 1937), Croatian-Canadian mineralogist and Curator Emeritus of Mineralogy, Royal Ontario Museum. Occurrence Sturmanite was first identified in 1983 and approved by the IMA in the same year. It was first found in the Black Rock Mine, Black Rock, Kalahari manganese field, Northern Cape Province, South Africa. It is found as flattened dipyramidal crystals on hematite and baryte. Sturmanite has also been identified in mines near the Black Rock Mine, such as the Wessel's and Perth mines, in the N'Chwaning mines, and near Lakargi Mountain in Russia.
