Stuntmasterz
Stuntmasterz were a British music group featuring Steve Harris, Rob Davis and Pete Cook. They are best known for their hit single "The Ladyboy Is Mine", a mash-up of the songs " The Boy Is Mine" by Brandy and Monica, and Modjo's "Lady (Hear Me Tonight)". The song peaked at number 10 on the UK Singles Chart in March 2001, while also reaching the top 50 of several charts across Europe. The initial white label release of "The Ladyboy Is Mine" in 2000 samples Modjo's "Lady (Hear Me Tonight)", however Warner Music UK could not clear the sample so for the official release in 2001, minus the vocals from "Lady (Hear Me Tonight)", a sample from " Soup for One" by Chic Chic (; ), meaning "stylish" or "smart", is an element of fashion. The Boy Is Mine (Brandy And Monica Song)
"The Boy Is Mine" is a duet by American singers Brandy and Monica. It was written by LaShawn Daniels, Japhe Tejeda, Fred Jerkins III, Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins, and Brandy, while production was helmed by Jerkins and Dallas Austin. It was released as the lead single from both singers' second albums from 1998, '' Never Say Never'' by Brandy and the album of the same name by Monica. Inspired by Michael Jackson and Paul McCartney's 1982 duet "The Girl Is Mine", the lyrics of the mid-tempo R&B track revolve around two women fighting over a man. The song received generally positive reviews from music critics and was the first number-one pop hit for both artists, in the US and internationally. Exploiting the media's presumption of a rivalry between the two young singers, "The Boy Is Mine" became the best-selling song of the year in the US, selling 2.6 million copies, and spent 13 weeks at the top of the US ''Billboard'' Hot 100. It became the second song in the history of the ...

Mashup (music)
A mashup (also mesh, mash up, mash-up, blend, bastard pop or bootleg) is a creative work, usually a song, created by blending two or more pre-recorded songs, typically by superimposing the vocal track of one song seamlessly over the instrumental track of another and changing the tempo and key where necessary. Such works are considered " transformative" of original content and in the United States they may find protection from copyright claims under the "fair use" doctrine of copyright law. History The 1967 Harry Nilsson album '' Pandemonium Shadow Show'' features what is nominally a cover of the Beatles' " You Can't Do That" but actually introduced the "mashup" to studio-recording. Nilsson's recording of "You Can't Do That" mashes his own vocal recreations of more than a dozen Beatles songs into this track. Nilsson conceived the combining of many overlaying songs into one track after he played a chord on his guitar and realized how many Beatles songs it could apply to. This reco ...
