Chuck Studley
Charles B. Studley (born January 17, 1929) is a former American football coach. He served as head coach at University of Cincinnati from 1961 to 1966 and interim head coach of the Houston Oilers in 1983. Studley finished with a 2–8 record in his only job as an NFL head coach. Prior to joining the Oilers as a defensive coordinator in 1983, Studley served as defensive coordinator with the San Francisco 49ers. He was in charge of the defense under Bill Walsh and was responsible for the 49ers being able to hold off the Cincinnati Bengals' rally in Super Bowl XVI. Studley subsequently served from 1984 to 1986 as defensive coordinator with the Miami Dolphins. Following a tenure as the Dolphins' linebackers coach, he joined the Cincinnati Bengals from 1989 to 1991 as a defensive line coach. Henry O (; born July 7, 1927) is a former Chinese-American actor. He is the father of Ji-li Jiang, the author of ''Red Scarf Girl''. O was born in Shanghai in 1927 and attended British and American missionary schools in China. He worked as a stage actor in China before switching to film work after moving to the United States. During the Cultural Revolution he was falsely accused of counter-revolutionary crimes and was detained and forced to do hard labor by the Chinese government. Personal life O and his family left China and settled in the United States in the 1980s to take care of his daughter Ji-yun's children. Henry O is his stage named and is derived from O. Henry. John Studley
John Studley (1545?–1590?) was an English academic, known as a translator of Seneca. He contributed to the ''Seneca his tenne tragedies translated into English'' (1581), compiled by Thomas Newton and the sole printed translations of Seneca available in Elizabethan England; some echoes of his work have been detected in Shakespeare. Life Born about 1545, he was one of the original scholars of Westminster School, and the earliest to be elected to Cambridge. He matriculated from Trinity College, Cambridge, in 1561; his translations were made as an undergraduate. He graduated B. A. in 1566 and M.A. in 1570, being elected a fellow of the college in the interval. Studley's religious opinions were strongly Calvinistic. On 1 February 1573 he was summoned before the heads of colleges at Cambridge on a charge of nonconformity. A few months later he vacated his fellowship.
