''Studio 7'' is a Philippine television variety show broadcast by GMA Network. Directed by Miguel Tanchanco, it is hosted by Christian Bautista, Julie Anne San Jose and Mark Bautista. It premiered on October 14, 2018 on the network's Sabado Star Power sa Gabi line-up replacing ''The Clash'' and ''Kapuso Movie Night''. The show concluded on December 7, 2019 with a total of 59 episodes. It was replaced by ''Kapuso Movie Night'' in its timeslot. Variety Show
Variety show, also known as variety arts or variety entertainment, is entertainment made up of a variety of acts including musical theatre, musical performances, sketch comedy, magic (illusion), magic, acrobatics, juggling, and ventriloquism. It is normally introduced by a Master of Ceremonies, compère (master of ceremonies) or Television presenter, host. The variety format made its way from the Victorian era stage in Britain and America to radio and then television. Variety shows were a staple of English language television from the late 1940s into the 1980s.
