Studie AG is a Japanese tuning company of BMW and a Super GT team which participates in GT300 class. Since 2018 the team also participates in the GT World Challenge Asia. History Studie was established in 1995 in Yokohama as a BMW parts dealer and developer. They currently have four branches in Japan. They also provide supports to teams and individuals using BMW cars in motorsports. Participation of Super GT Season They started participated in GT300 class in Super GT since 2008 (where they have partnership with Advance Step) with a BMW Z4 (E85), the first BMW car in Super GT history. However, their media coverage mainly comes from their adoption of an Itasha (charactered theme mainly involved with animation or manga characters) theme on their car, which is occasionally seen in Japan's roads but not commonly seen in circuits, even Studie was not the first to do so. GT World Challenge Asia
The GT World Challenge Asia (formerly Blancpain GT Series Asia and Blancpain GT World Challenge Asia) is a Grand tourer, GT series motor racing competition promoted by the Stéphane Ratel Organisation and organized by Team Asia One GT Management. From its inception in 2017 to 2023, GT World Challenge Asia was a multi-class championship featuring Group GT3, GT3 and SRO GT4, GT4 cars. In 2024, the series adopted the same GT3-only format as the other GT World Challenge series on other continents. The Japan Cup Series, Japan Cup series debuted in 2022 as a parallel championship within GT World Challenge Asia, with races held exclusively in Japan. It was split into a separate championship in 2024. Each season consists of six rounds, each with two 60-minute races. BMW S65
The BMW S65 is a naturally aspirated V8 petrol engine which was produced from 2007 to 2013. Its main use was in the BMW M3#E90/92/93 M3, BMW M3 (where it replaced the BMW M54#S54B32, BMW S54 straight-six engine). There is no direct replacement for the S65, since the following generation of M3 switched to a turbocharged straight-six engine (the BMW S55). Derived from the BMW S85 V10 engine (as used in the BMW M5#E60 M5 (2005–2010), E60 M5), the S65 shares the same basic architecture and aluminium construction. The 2008 Autobacs Super GT Series was the sixteenth season of the Japan Automobile Federation Super GT Championship including the All Japan Grand Touring Car Championship (JGTC) era and the fourth season as the Super GT series. It marked as well as the twenty-sixth season of a JAF-sanctioned sports car racing championship dating back to the All Japan Sports Prototype Championship. Jörg Müller (, ; born 3 September 1969) is a Dutch-born German BMW factory driver. Racing career Born in Kerkrade, Netherlands, Müller won the titles in 1989 German Formula Opel Lotus Challenge and in 1989 European Formula Ford 1600. The 1994, German Formula Three Champion won a Supertouring car race for BMW in 1995 and the 1995-1996 Spa 24 Hours as well as the 1996 Formula 3000 Championship for team RSM Helmut Marko Lola-Zytek. He also won the prestigious Macau Grand Prix in 1993. The 2010 FIA GT3 European Championship season was the fifth season of the FIA GT3 European Championship. The season commenced on 1 May at Silverstone and ended on 10 October at Circuit Zolder. is a Japanese former racing driver and motorsport executive, who competed in Formula One from to . Katayama participated in 97 Grands Prix, debuting at the 1992 South African Grand Prix, making him the sport's most experienced Japanese driver.
