Stuart Parker (politician)
Stuart Parker (born 1972) is a Canadian politician who was the acting leader of the BC Ecosocialists party in 2020 and was the leader of the Green Party in British Columbia, Canada, from 1993 to 2000. In 2009, during the Ontario by-election to replace MPP Michael Bryant, he unsuccessfully sought the Ontario New Democratic Party nomination for the St. Paul's provincial riding. Green Party activism Prior to winning the party's leadership at the age of 21, he had been the founder and spokesperson of the party's youth wing, the Young Greens from 1988 to 1992 and was best known for coordinating the group's successful national campaign against McDonald's Restaurants' use of ozone-destroying foam packaging. Parker and the Young Greens received substantial credit from Canada's national media in 1990 when the restaurant giant abandoned the use of chlorofluorocarbon-based foam. Stuart Parker (born 16 February 1954 in Preston) is an English former professional association football, footballer and a current English non-league Manager (association football), football manager. He is currently chairman of A.F.C. Blackpool. Playing career Parker began his career with Blackpool F.C., Blackpool in 1972, making his debut under Bob Stokoe as a substitute in a 1–1 draw with Leyton Orient F.C., Orient at Bloomfield Road on 16 September. He made two more appearances, both starts, during the remainder of the Blackpool F.C. season 1972–73, 1972–73 season. Stuart Parker (born 30 July 1997) is a British tennis player. Career In February and March 2021, Parker won two titles on the ITF circuit, both in Tunisia. He was selected for a wildcard into the 2021 Queen's Club Championships – Doubles main draw partnering James Ward. He was also awarded a wildcard into the qualifying rounds of the singles and lost to Spain's Bernabé Zapata Miralles in straight sets. He received a wildcard for the main draw of the 2021 Wimbledon Championships men's doubles alongside Ward, and a wildcard into the qualifying for the men's singles. Stuart Parker is a fictional character from the Australian soap opera ''Neighbours'', played by Blair McDonough. He made his first appearance during the episode broadcast on 13 December 2001. Stuart lived with Toadfish Rebecchi (Ryan Moloney) and Connor O'Neill ( Patrick Harvey) at number 30, during which time the house became known as "The House of Trouser".
