Stuart Kettlewell
Stuart Kettlewell (born 4 June 1984) is a Scottish football coach and former player who is the manager of Scottish Premiership club Motherwell. He played as a midfielder for Queen's Park, Clyde, Ross County and Brora Rangers. Playing career Queen's Park Kettlewell began his career with Queen's Park. He made 182 appearances for the ''Spiders'' in all competitions, scoring 11 goals, and held the captain's armband from 2006 until he left the club. Clyde Kettlewell became Clyde's first summer signing of 2008, when he joined the Broadwood side on 19 May. He made his Clyde debut in July 2008, in a 2–0 victory over Annan Athletic in the Scottish Challenge Cup. He was appointed team captain before the game. Brora Rangers
Brora Rangers Football Club are a Scottish football club from the village of Brora, Sutherland, in the Highland council area of Scotland. They play in the Highland Football League, of which they have been champions four times, having won their first title in 2013–14 and successfully defended it in the 2014–15 season. They were awarded the title in the 2019–20 and 2020–21 seasons which were incomplete due to the coronavirus pandemic. Scottish Football League First Division
The Scottish Football League First Division was the second tier in the Scottish football league system between 1975 and 2013. History The First Division was introduced in 1975–76 to replace the old Scottish Football League Division Two, as the top flight of the Scottish Football League was renamed from Division One to Premier Division. In 1998, the Premier Division clubs broke away from the Scottish Football League to form the Scottish Premier League. 2010–11 Scottish Challenge Cup
The 2010–11 Scottish Challenge Cup, known as the ALBA Challenge Cup due to sponsorship reasons with MG Alba, was the 20th season of the competition, competed for by all 30 members of the Scottish Football League. The defending champions were Dundee, who defeated Inverness Caledonian Thistle 3–2 in the 2009 final. Dundee were knocked out in the second round after being defeated 4–1 by Stenhousemuir. Steven Hammell
Steven Hammell (born 18 February 1982) is a Scottish football coach and former player, who manages Scottish Premiership club Motherwell. Hammell played as a left-back for Motherwell in almost 500 league games across two spells, either side of a stint with Southend United. Hammell also played once for Scotland, in 2004. Hammell retired from playing in 2018. After a period as Motherwell's academy director, he became their manager in August 2022. Career Motherwell Born in Glasgow, Hammell joined the youth system of Motherwell at the age of fifteen, after Alex McLeish and John Park came to his house and managed to persuade Hammell to take up football full-time. The 2020–21 Scottish Premiership was the eighth season of the Scottish Premiership, the highest division of Scottish football (the 124th edition overall of the top national league competition, not including one cancelled due to World War II). Steve Ferguson (footballer)
Steven Ferguson (born 18 May 1977) is a Scottish football player, coach and executive. He was appointed assistant manager of Ross County in June 2014, having previously been a coach at the club. When manager Derek Adams was sacked in August 2014, Ferguson was placed in temporary control of the club. He then became academy director, and was again placed in temporary charge of the first team in September 2017. Ferguson was appointed co-manager of Ross County in March 2018, working with Stuart Kettlewell. This arrangement continued until June 2020, when Kettlewell was given sole control of the team and Ferguson became the club's chief executive. Owen Coyle
Owen Columba Coyle (born 14 July 1966) is a professional football manager and former player who is currently the manager of Scottish Championship club Queen's Park. He played as a striker for several clubs in England and Scotland, and made one appearance for the Republic of Ireland national team. Coyle began his career at Dumbarton, and also played for Clydebank and Airdrieonians before joining English club Bolton Wanderers in 1993. He appeared for Bolton in the Premier League before a return to Scotland with Dundee United. He went on to play for several other Scottish clubs, including Motherwell, Dunfermline Athletic, Falkirk and St Johnstone. Qualifying by descent, he played for the Republic of Ireland under-21s and B team before he made one full international appearance in 1994. The 2016–17 SPFL Development League was the 19th season of the highest youth Scottish football league and the third season under the "Development League" format. It began in August 2016 and ended in May 2017. Changes The league remained at 17 teams. All twelve 2016–17 Scottish Premiership clubs participated in the league, with Dundee United, Dunfermline Athletic, Falkirk, Hibernian and St Mirren making up the numbers. The 2014–15 Scottish League Two is the 20th season in the current format of 10 teams in the fourth tier of Scottish football. The last placed team entered a play-off with the winners of the Highland League (Brora Rangers) and Lowland League ( Edinburgh City) to determine which team entered League Two in the 2015–16 season.
