Stewart Campbell (rugby Union)
Stewart Campbell (born 7 November 1972) is a former Scottish international rugby union player who played for Glasgow Caledonians (now Glasgow Warriors). He played in the Lock position. Campbell started playing amateur rugby for Strathendrick RFC. Moving through amateur clubs he played for West of Scotland, Dundee HSFP and Melrose RFC. When professional rugby started in Scotland in 1996, Campbell first played for the Caledonia Reds. On their merger with the Glasgow side he then turned out for Glasgow Caledonians in 1998. Stuart Pearson Campbell (born 9 December 1977) is a association football, football coach and former professional player. As a player, he was as a midfielder between 1996 and 2013. He has previously played for Leicester City F.C., Leicester City where he played in the English Premier League before moving on loan to Birmingham City F.C., Birmingham City and Grimsby Town F.C., Grimsby Town. He signed with Grimsby on a permanent basis in 2001, and he remained with the club until joining Bristol Rovers F.C., Bristol Rovers in the summer of 2004. Campbell became club captain at Rovers and in 2012 he briefly managed the club on a caretaker basis before leaving the club at the end of the season. The Zephyrs
The Zephyrs are an Edinburgh, Scotland-based indie band. They have released five albums and two EPs containing their shoegazing folk-rock style. Band history Brothers Stuart (vocals, guitar) and David Nicol (bass) had been playing music together for many years before forming The Zephyrs. Adopting the band moniker used by their father 25 years before, they released their first album in 1999. ''It's OK Not to Say Anything'' was released on the Edinburgh indie label Evol and 700 copies were printed. Small as this release was, it garnered the attention of Scottish post-rock band Mogwai who signed The Zephyrs to their own imprint Rock Action, which was then owned by SouthPaw Records. Born in Stirling, he moved to Bath in 1991 to work for computer magazine ''Amiga Power'' as a staff writer, where he gained attention for his video game reviews. Stewart Campbell (May 5, 1812 – February 20, 1885) was a Canadian lawyer and politician and a member of the Anti-Confederation Party. Born in Jamaica, he studied law in England and completed his legal training in City of Halifax, Halifax, Nova Scotia, studying with William Young (Nova Scotia politician), William Young. He practiced law in Halifax and then, some time before 1842, moved to Guysborough County, Nova Scotia, Guysborough, where he also served as a surrogate judge. Campbell represented Guysborough County in the Nova Scotia House of Assembly from 1851 to 1867. He was speaker for the assembly from 1856 to 1863. From 1863 to 1865, Campbell served on a commission to consolidate the statutes for Nova Scotia. The murder of Danielle Jones (16 October 1985 – c. 18 June 2001) was an English murder case where no body was found and the conviction relied upon forensic authorship analysis of text messages sent on the victim's mobile phone. Danielle Sarah Jones was last seen alive on 18 June 2001. Jones's uncle, Stuart Campbell, a builder, was convicted of abduction and murder on 19 December 2002. Campbell was sentenced to life imprisonment for murder as well as 10 years for abduction. After the trial, controversy arose when it was revealed Campbell had prior convictions for indecent assault on other girls of similar ages. The use of forensic authorship analysis of text messages in the case provoked research into its use in other cases. Stuart Campbell (obstetrician)
Stuart Campbell DSc FRCPEd FRCOG FACOG, was born in Glasgow, Scotland, and graduated from the medical school of Glasgow University. During his training he worked with Ian Donald, who had published some of the first papers on the use of ultrasound in obstetrics. Campbell went on to become one of the pioneers too, publishing papers on fetal biometry, and developing charts of fetal measurements such the biparietal diameter and head circumference, and formulae for estimating fetal weight using ultrasound. He went on to work at Queen Charlotte's Hospital in London, before being appointed Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at King's College Hospital, where he established a fetal medicine unit of international renown (now Harris-Birthright Research Centre for Fetal Medicine), where other leading fetal medicine practitioners such as Kypros Nicolaides, and Charles Rodeck would later train and work.
