Stu Marshall
Stu Marshall is a guitarist from Sydney, Australia. He is a member of Sydney heavy metal band Empires of Eden and Paindivision. Marshall is best known as a member of the Sydney metal band Dungeon with whom he recorded three albums and toured extensively throughout Australia, Europe and Japan between 2001 and 2005. After many years playing in cover and tribute bands, Marshall joined Dungeon as the replacement for Dale Corney in late 2001 and made his debut with the band at the annual Metal for the Brain festival. While most of the group's album '' A Rise to Power'' had been recorded by the time he joined, several tracks feature Marshall's solos. He also played on the studio albums ''One Step Beyond'' and '' Resurrection'' and on the live DVD '' Under the Rising Sun'' that was made during the band's 2003 tour of Japan. Dungeon was an Australian melodic power metal band based in Sydney, considered by some as one of Australia's leading metal bands. The group existed from 1989 to 2005, released six full-length albums, and toured heavily both throughout Australia and internationally. History (1989–1996) Formation and early period The band was formed in the New South Wales outback mining town of Broken Hill in 1989 by guitarist Tim Grose featuring himself, bassist Eddie Tresize and drummer Ian DeBono. A Personal Journey
''A Personal Journey'' is the debut studio album by the Australian heavy metal band Lord. This release was designed as a solo outlet for Lord Tim of the Sydney metal band Dungeon to release material he felt was inappropriate for that group. Overview The tracks on ''A Personal Journey'' are a mixture of instrumentals and songs. The ex-Dungeon bass guitarist Justin Sayers and Dungeon guitarist Stu Marshall also contributed. Track 5, "By George!", is a tribute to the Dokken guitarist George Lynch. The album was released in 2003 by the Melbourne label Metal Warriors before being remixed and reissued with an extra track, "The Duel" (a reworking of an early Dungeon song), by Modern Invasion in December 2004. When Dungeon split up that year, Lord became a complete band and has since recorded further albums. Steve Grimmett
Stephen Grimmett (19 August 1959 – 15 August 2022) was a British heavy metal vocalist, best known as the lead singer for Grim Reaper. Of Grim Reaper's numerous lineups over the band's existence Grimmett was the sole consistent member from 1982 to 1988, then 2006 until his death in 2022. Outside of Grim Reaper Grimmett has been associated with many other various metal-based acts/projects. Career Grimmett began his career in the era of new wave of British heavy metal. Zachary Trussell (born March 5, 1966), known professionally as Zachary "Zak" Stevens, is an American singer, best known as the second lead vocalist of the heavy metal band Savatage. Ross Friedman (born January 3, 1954), also known as Ross the Boss, is a guitarist, known as a founding member of both the punk band the Dictators, and the heavy metal band Manowar. History Friedman was born in the Bronx, New York, and formed the punk rock band the Dictators with Andy Shernoff in New Paltz, New York, in 1973. Prior to this, Friedman had played in a local band, Total Crudd. After recording three albums with the Dictators, Friedman went to France and worked for one year in Fabienne Shine's band Shakin' Street. Tim Yatras is an Australian musician, composer and producer, best known as one half of the now defunct black metal duo Austere, and the creator of the black metal/rock/trance act Germ. Biography Yatras was a member of Lord, and prior to that was also a part of Dungeon from February 2005 until their breakup, and appears on the 2006 release, '' The Final Chapter'', performing drums and backing vocals, and co-writing most of the tracks.
