Sue Black, Baroness Black Of Strome
Susan Margaret Black, Baroness Black of Strome, ( Gunn; born 7 May 1961) is a Scottish forensic anthropologist, anatomist and academic. She was the Pro Vice-Chancellor for Engagement at Lancaster University and is past President of the Royal Anthropological Institute of Great Britain and Ireland. From 2003 to 2018 she was Professor of Anatomy and Forensic Anthropology at the University of Dundee. She is President of St John's College, Oxford. Education Sue Black was born in Inverness and educated at Inverness Royal Academy. She attended the University of Aberdeen where she graduated with a BSc degree with honours in human anatomy in 1982, and a PhD degree for her thesis on 'Identification from the Human Skeleton' in 1986. Jennifer Strome is an American producer and writer, focusing on script and show development. Career Strome began her career in San Francisco at the Plush Room Cabaret as Entertainment Director, and with The Chamber Theatre Company as Associate managing director and assistant to the Artistic Director. Dylan Strome
Dylan William Strome (born March 7, 1997) is a Canadian professional ice hockey center for the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League. Ahead of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft, Strome was considered a top prospect, and was selected third overall by the Arizona Coyotes. He has also played for the Chicago Blackhawks. Playing career Junior Strome started to gain attention as a minor midget hockey player with the Toronto Marlboros of the Greater Toronto Hockey League (GTHL), where he was named the league's Player of the Year for the 2012–13 season. Mark Strome (born 20th century) is an American entrepreneur and philanthropist. He is the founder, chief investment officer and chairman of Strome Investment Management. Early life and education Born in New York, Strome grew up on his family's dairy farm in Warsaw, New York. In 1974, he graduated from Warsaw High School. Strome received a degree in civil engineering from Old Dominion University, and graduated with honors in 1978. Ryan Strome
Ryan Edward Gaston Strome (born July 11, 1993) is a Canadian ice hockey centre for the Anaheim Ducks of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected fifth overall in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft by the New York Islanders and began playing with the team during their 2013–14 season. Previously, Strome played in the major junior level as a member of the Barrie Colts of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) before being traded to the Niagara IceDogs during his first season in the league. Steve Strome
Steve Strome is the former head men’s tennis coach at Miami University, Louisiana State University, Duke and Army. Strome also served as the assistant men's basketball coach at Miami University from 1966 to 1969. During his coaching career Strome has received multiple awards including Coach of the Year in more than one conference, won multiple conference championships and was inducted into the Miami University Hall of Fame. Coaching career Strome coached the Miami University men's tennis team from 1969 to 1979. In Strome's first year at Miami University his team did not even win one Mid-American Conference match. Strome, Alberta
Strome is a hamlet in east-central Alberta, Canada, within Flagstaff County. It is located on Highway 13, approximately east of the City of Camrose. The hamlet was originally incorporated as a village on February 3, 1910. It dissolved to become a hamlet under the jurisdiction of Flagstaff County on January 1, 2016. Strome's name is believed to come from Stromeferry in Ross & Cromarty, Scotland. History Strome began developing as a farming community in 1905. Max Knoll opened the first post office, under the name of Knollton, and set up the first general store. The name of the post office was changed to Strome on July 1, 1906. Strome Castle is a ruined castle on the shore of Loch Carron in Stromemore, 3.5 miles south-west of the village of Lochcarron, on the headland between Loch Carron and Loch Kishorn, on the west coast of the Scottish Highlands. Strome Park is a public park in Lincoln County, Oregon, United States. It is located about ten miles north of Siletz. Some maps show it as Mowrey Landing. Lava-Ströme (''Streams of Lava''), opus 74, is the name of a waltz composed by Johann Strauss II. It was written to commemorate the volcanic activity within Vesuvius in 1850.
