''Larry McMurtry's Streets of Laredo'' is a 1995 American Western television miniseries directed by Joseph Sargent. It is a three-part adaptation of the 1993 novel of the same name by author Larry McMurtry and is the third installment in the Lonesome Dove series serving as a direct sequel to ''Lonesome Dove'' (1989), ignoring the events of ''Return to Lonesome Dove'' (1993). Diana Ossana
Diana Lynn Ossana (born August 24, 1949) is an American writer who has collaborated on writing screenplays, teleplays, and novels with author Larry McMurtry since they first worked together in 1992, on the semi-fictionalized biography ''Pretty Boy Floyd''. She won an Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay, a Writers' Guild of America Award, a BAFTA Award and a Golden Globe Award for her screenplay of Ang Lee's ''Brokeback Mountain'', along with McMurtry and adapted from the short story of the same name by Annie Proulx. Clarendon is a city in Donley County, Texas, United States. Its population was 2,026 at the 2010 census. The county seat of Donley County, Clarendon is located on U.S. Highway 287 in the Texas Panhandle, east of Amarillo.
