Streets Of Bollywood
''Streets of Bollywood'' is a compilation album of songs from Bollywood movies, remixed by British Asian music artists. Among the artists are Hunterz, Metz & Trix, and Kami K (who produced the most tracks, at 3, plus two re-remixes at the end of the album). Several of the artists would also feature on the later similarly themed Bollywood Breaks Vol. 1. The remixing of the songs consisted of new beats and backing music, as well as adding rapping in English interspersed with the original Hindi lyrics. Bollywood Music
Hindi film songs, more formally known as Hindi Geet or filmi songs and informally known as Bollywood music, are songs featured in Hindi films. Derived from the song-and-dance routines common in Indian films, Bollywood songs, along with dance, are a characteristic motif of Hindi cinema which gives it enduring popular appeal, cultural value and context. Hindi film songs form a predominant component of Indian pop music, and derive their inspiration from both classical and modern sources. ''Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai'' () is a 2002 Indian Hindi-language romantic comedy directed by Sanjay Gadhvi and produced by Yash Chopra and Aditya Chopra under the banner Yash Raj Films. ''Na Tum Jaano Na Hum'' () is a 2002 Indian Hindi-language romantic drama film starring Saif Ali Khan, Hrithik Roshan and Esha Deol. This is the first film where Roshan and Khan act together. ''Kasoor'' ( en, Fault) is a 2001 Indian Hindi psychological suspense thriller film produced under Mukesh Bhatt's Vishesh Films and directed by Vikram Bhatt. It features Aftab Shivdasani in his second Bollywood appearance and Lisa Ray in her Bollywood debut. Ray's voice was dubbed by Divya Dutta. The film also stars Apoorva Agnihotri, Irrfan Khan and Ashutosh Rana in supporting roles. It was released on 2 February 2001. The film is an unofficial remake of the 1985 Hollywood film '' Jagged Edge'' which stars Jeff Bridges and Glenn Close. The movie was a critical and commercial success.
