It was written, among others, by the ''French Connection'' 's screenwriter, Ernest Tidyman. It was released in United States by American International Pictures. Maurizio Lucidi
Maurizio Lucidi (1932–2005) was an Italian director, screenwriter and editor, sometimes credited as Mark Lender. Born in Florence, Lucidi started his career as film editor in the early 1960s. In 1964 he was assistant director for Pier Paolo Pasolini on '' The Gospel According to St. Matthew''. He made his directorial debut in 1966 with '' Hercules the Avenger''; later he directed a number of genre films, especially Spaghetti Westerns. Evening Independent
The ''Evening Independent'' was St. Petersburg, Florida's first daily newspaper. The sister evening newspaper of the ''St. Petersburg Times'', it was launched as a weekly newspaper in March 1906 under the ownership of Willis B. Powell. In November 1907, it became a daily paper as the ''St. Petersburg Evening Independent''. The newspaper was known for its "Sunshine Offer", which was first enacted in 1910 by Lew Brown as a way to publicize St. Petersburg as "The Sunshine City". Rosemarie Lindt is a German actress and ballet dancer who was known to the wider audience for her appearances in '' Frau Wirtin'' series in the late 1960s and in Italian exploitation cinema of the 1970s. Ballet career Lindt studied at Folkwang University of the Arts under Kurt Jooss and performed as the prima ballerina at Opernhaus Wuppertal, Opernhaus Düsseldorf, Paris Opera, and Théâtre de la Ville. Film career By 1963, Lindt and her boyfriend Jacques Herlin moved from Paris to Rome for Herlin's permanent employment at Cinecittà and Lindt soon found minor roles in cinema, starting with ''La ballata dei mariti'' (1963) and later ''Hercules the Invincible'' (1964). Ettore Manni (6 May 1927 – 27 July 1979) was an Italian film actor. He appeared in more than 100 films between 1952 and 1979. Life and career Born in Rome, Manni debuted as an actor in 1952, when in spite of his acting inexperience he was chosen by Luigi Comencini for the main role in '' La tratta delle bianche''. Following the success of the film Manni interrupted his university studies and started appearing in a significant number of films of any genre, becoming in a short time one of the most popular actors in the Italian cinema. As his fame declined in the 1960s, Manni appeared mainly in Spaghetti Western and peplum films, but he also took part to several international productions, including films by Delmer Daves and Tony Richardson. Pietro Martellanza (30 September 1938 – 1 February 2010), best known as Peter Martell, was an Italian film actor who had numerous bigger roles in Spaghetti westerns. Sometimes he was credited as Pete Martell or Peter Martel. Born in Bolzano, he started his career in cinema as a stuntman. He was mainly active in the 1960s and 1970s, appearing in about 70 films. After a longer break he starred in some movies again from 2002 on. Martell was chosen as the leading actor in '' God Forgives...
