Street Drum Corps
Street Drum Corps is an American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 2004 by Bobby Alt, of S.T.U.N. and Faculty X; Adam Alt, of Circus Minor; and Frank Zummo, of TheStart. To date the group have released four albums and have been part of tours such as Van's Warped Tour, Taste of Chaos, Thirty Seconds to Mars's Into the Wild Tour and Linkin Park's Projekt Revolution. The group uses instruments such as drum kits, garbage cans, hand drums, acoustic, buckets, kitchenware, recycled aluminium, rain barrels, marching band equipment, and even power tools to produce a grinding effect during live shows and have performed with the likes of Thirty Seconds to Mars, Stomp, No Doubt, Bad Religion, Good Charlotte, Linkin Park, Atreyu, Strung Out, Alexisonfire and Deftones. Thirty Seconds To Mars
Thirty Seconds to Mars (commonly stylized as 30 Seconds to Mars) is an American rock band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 1998. The band consists of brothers Jared Leto (lead vocals, guitar, bass, keyboards) and Shannon Leto (drums, percussion). During the course of its existence, it has undergone various line-up changes. The band's debut album, '' 30 Seconds to Mars'' (2002), was produced by Bob Ezrin and released to positive reviews but only to limited commercial success. The band achieved worldwide fame with the release of its second album ''A Beautiful Lie'' (2005), which received multiple certifications all over the world. Its next release, ''This Is War'' (2009), showed a dramatic evolution in the band's musical style, as it incorporated experimental music as well as eclectic influences. Stomp (dance Troupe)
Stomp (stylized as ''STOMP'') is a percussion group, originating in Brighton, England, that uses the body and ordinary objects to create a physical theatre performance using rhythms, acrobatics and pantomime. History and performances 1990–98 Stomp was created by Steve McNicholas and Luke Cresswell in 1991. The performers use a variety of everyday objects as percussion instruments in their shows. Cresswell and McNicholas first worked together in 1981 as members of the street band Pookiesnackenburger and the theatre group Cliff Hanger. Together, these groups presented a series of street comedy musicals at the Edinburgh Festival throughout the early 1980s. Projekt Revolution
Projekt Revolution was a music festival hosted by Linkin Park, bringing artists of various genres of music together. Linkin Park started Projekt Revolution in the year 2002 with just one stage. Then, in 2004, they announced the Revolution Stage (Second Stage) where the smaller bands/artists would perform. 2002 2002 brought Linkin Park the idea to plan the Projekt Revolution Tour series, and the series began in that year. They thought it was part festival tour, part concert tour, part national tour. It is the first of the Projekt Revolution Tour Series.
