Streamzoo
Streamzoo was a photo and video sharing social networking service that came with photo enhancement functionality. The mobile app was compatible with the Apple iPhone and Android-Smartphones, but site users could also access their accounts online. Streamzoo was taken offline and off of the Apple iPhone and Android-Smartphones on March 21, 2014. All photos were deleted from the server and cannot be retrieved. Background Streamzoo was launched in February 2011 by Phonezoo Communications, Inc., a company founded by Ram Ramkumar and Manish Vaidya, and funded by venture capitalist Tim Draper of DFJ Ventures, Inc. Image sharing, or photo sharing, is the publishing or transfer of digital photos online. Image sharing websites offer services such as uploading, hosting, managing and sharing of photos (publicly or privately). Instagram is a photo and video sharing social networking service owned by American company Meta Platforms. The app allows users to upload media that can be edited with filters and organized by hashtags and geographical tagging. Posts can be shared publicly or with preapproved followers. Imageboards
An imageboard is a type of Internet forum that focuses on the posting of images, often alongside text and discussion. The first imageboards were created in Japan as an extension of the textboard concept. These sites later inspired the creation of a number of English-language imageboards. Characteristics Imageboards, similar to bulletin board systems, are used for discussions of a variety of topics. The primary focus of imageboards, however, is directed away from text posts, and is instead placed on picture posts. The two share many of the same structures, including separate forums for separate topics, as well as similar audiences. Imageboards are much more transitory with content—on some boards (especially highly trafficked ones), the thread deletion time can be as little as 10 minutes.
