Straževica
Straževica () is a hill and an urban neighborhood of Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. It is located in Belgrade's municipality of Rakovica. The area was the most heavily bombed part of Belgrade during the NATO bombing of Serbia in 1999. Location Straževica is located in the central part of the neighborhood, on the hill of the same name. The neighborhood is small and undeveloped, as most of the hill is turned into Belgrade's most important quarry, Kijevo, and on all sides of the hill already developed separate neighborhoods: Kneževac on the north, Jelezovac and Sunčani Breg on the east, Resnik on the south, Kijevo on the southwest and Labudovo Brdo on the west. Belgrade Beltway
The Belgrade bypass () or Belgrade city road bypass is a U-shaped, 78-km long motorway partially encircling the city of Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. The construction of the bypass started in 1991 and its parts have been sporadically built ever since. Its completion is expected to help alleviate Belgrade's traffic congestion, and remove all transit traffic from the city itself. As of June 2023, two (out of three) sectors are fully completed and motorway has length of 48 kilometers. Rakovica, Belgrade
Rakovica ( sr-cyr, Раковица, ) is a municipality of the city of Belgrade. According to the 2022 census results, the municipality has 104,456 inhabitants. The municipality of Rakovica is located south of downtown Belgrade. It is bordered by the municipalities of Savski Venac on the north, Voždovac on the east and Čukarica on the west and south. Its neighborhood of Resnik marks the southernmost point of the Belgrade City Proper (''uža teritorija grada''). History The first settlement on the territory of present-day Rakovica was mentioned in the Ottoman 1560 population census as a village called ''Vlaha''. Κneževac ( Serbian Cyrillic: Кнежевац) is an urban neighborhood of Belgrade, Serbia. It is located in Belgrade's municipality of Rakovica. Location Κneževac is located in the central part of the municipality. Kijevo () is an urban neighborhood of Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. It is located in Belgrade's municipality of Rakovica. Location Kijevo is located between the southwestern slopes of the Straževica hill on the east, and the southeastern slopes of the Petlovo Brdo on the west. The neighborhood is situated in the central part of the municipality, on the mouth of the stream of Kijevski Potok into the Topčiderka river. Sunčani Breg
Sunčani Breg () is an urban neighborhood of Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. It is located in the Belgrade's municipality of Rakovica. Location Sunčani Breg is the sub-neighborhood of Miljakovac, in its southern section, close to the quarry and the neighborhood of Straževica and Jelezovac, along the road of ''Kružni put''. Resnik, Belgrade
Resnik (, ) is an urban neighborhood of Belgrade, Serbia. It is located in Belgrade's municipality of Rakovica. Location Resnik is located in the southern section of the municipality and makes the southernmost point of the urban Belgrade City Proper. Originally a village distant from Belgrade, it developed between the valleys of the creek of Rakovički potok and the Topčiderka river. The creek of ''Pariguz'' flows through the southern parts of Resnik before it empties into the Topčiderka. The settlement is roughly triangularly shaped and bordered by the settlements of Sunčani Breg, Jelezovac, Straževica (north), Petlovo Brdo and Kijevo (north-west) which make Resnik's urban connection to the rest of Belgrade. Labudovo Brdo ( sr-cyr, Лабудово брдо) is an urban neighborhood of Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. It is located in Belgrade's municipality of Rakovica. Miljakovac
Miljakovac (), () is an List of Belgrade neighborhoods, urban neighborhood of Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. It is located in Belgrade's municipality of Rakovica, Belgrade, Rakovica. Location Miljakovac is located on the northern outskirts of the Miljakovac Forest (''Miljakovačka šuma''), on the slopes of the Miljakovac hill, high, to the south. Bubanj Potok ( sr-cyr, Бубањ Поток) is a non-residential suburban settlement of Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. It is located in Belgrade's municipality of Voždovac.
