Adolph Strasser
Adolph Strasser (1843-1939), born in the Austro-Hungarian empire, was an American trade union organizer. Strasser is best remembered as a founder of the United Cigarmakers Union and the American Federation of Labor (AF of L). Strasser was additionally the president of the Cigar Makers' International Union for a period of 14 years, heading the union during the period in which it introduced its successful union label and gained substantial organizational strength. Jeff Strasser
Jeff Strasser (born 5 October 1974) is a Luxembourgish former professional football player and the current manager of Progrès Niederkorn. Club career As one of the rare successful professional footballers from Luxembourg, Strasser has made a fairly successful career in French and German first divisions. After playing for French side FC Metz in Ligue 1 between 1993 and 1999, he moved to German Bundesliga side 1. FC Kaiserslautern and spent three seasons with the club before leaving it for Borussia Mönchengladbach in 2002. With the two German clubs, he spent seven seasons in Bundesliga and was a regular in each of the seven seasons, making a total of 194 appearances and scoring 10 goals in the league. Teresa Lynn Strasser (born June 8, 1970) is an American writer and television personality known for hosting the first season of the home makeover show ''While You Were Out'' on TLC. Otto Johann Maximilian Strasser (also german: link=no, Straßer, see ß; 10 September 1897 – 27 August 1974) was a German politician and an early member of the Nazi Party. Otto Strasser, together with his brother Gregor Strasser, was a leading member of the party's left-wing faction, and broke from the party due to disputes with the dominant Hitlerite faction. He formed the Black Front, a group intended to split the Nazi Party and take it from the grasp of Hitler. This group also functioned during his exile and World War II as a secret opposition group (Strasserism). Peter Strasser (1 April 1876 – 5 August 1918) was chief commander of German Imperial Navy Zeppelins during World War I, the main force operating bombing campaigns from 1915 to 1917. Max Strasser (23 May 1904 – 16 November 1967) was a Swiss footballer who played for FC Basel. He played mainly as a forward, but also as a midfielder. Football career Strasser played his youth football for FC Basel and then advanced to the first team before their 1924–25 season.
