''Strangeulation Vol. II'' is the sixteenth studio album by American rapper Tech N9ne, the sixth in his "Collabos" series. The album was released on November 20, 2015, by Strange Music. It features the entire Strange Music roster, including their new signees JL B.Hood, Darrein Safron, and Mackenzie Nicole. The album serves as a sequel to ''Strangeulation'', the previous Tech N9ne Collabos album. Commercial performance On the chart dated December 12, 2015, ''Strangeulation Vol. II'' debuted on the US ''Billboard'' 200 chart at number 25, powered by first week sales 23,969 equivalent album units; it sold 22,380 copies in its first week, with the remainder of its unit total reflecting the album's streaming activity and track sales. It became Tech N9ne's second album to chart at number one on the Billboard Independent Albums in 2015. The album has sold 50,000 copies in the US as of November 2016. Tech N9ne
Aaron Dontez Yates (born November 8, 1971), better known by his stage name Tech N9ne (pronounced "tech nine"), is an American rapper. In 1999, he and business partner Travis O'Guin founded the record label Strange Music. He has sold over two million albums and has had his music featured in film, television, and video games. In 2009, he won the Left Field Woodie award at the mtvU Woodie Awards. His stage name originated from the TEC-9 semi-automatic handgun, a name given to him by rapper Black Walt due to his fast-rhyming chopper style. Yates later applied a deeper meaning to the name, stating that it stands for the complete technique of rhyme, with "tech" meaning technique and "nine" representing the number of completion. Ces Cru (often stylized as CES Cru) is an American rap duo from Kansas City, Missouri, signed to independent record label Strange Music. The duo currently consists of members Donnie "Godemis" King and Mike "Ubiquitous" Viglione, but has had numerous members throughout the years. Ces Cru released their debut album ''Capture Enemy Soldiers'' in 2004. They went on to release ''Cesphiles, Vol. 1 Codename:irongiant'' (2008) and ''The Playground'' (2009). In 2010, the duo signed to Tech N9ne's record label Strange Music and have released the EP '' 13'' (2012) and ''Recession Proof'' (2015). Their first two studio albums on the label are ''Constant Energy Struggles'' (2013), and '' Codename: Ego Stripper'' (2014). Nicholas Neil Carter (born March 16, 1978), better known by his stage name Murs, is an American rapping, rapper. Wrekonize
Benjamin Miller (born 5 May 1983), better known by his stage name Wrekonize, is an American underground rapper and current member of Miami band ¡Mayday!. He is currently signed to the record label Mayday Music, after previously being signed to Tech N9ne's Strange Music. Early life Benjamin Miller was born in London and raised in a household of both British and African descent. His mother was England-born and his father had immigrated to England from Cape Town, South Africa. After moving to Miami, Florida, in 1988, Miller's parents had formed a local band together. ¡Mayday! (stylized in all caps as ¡MAYD∀Y!) is an American hip hop group from Miami, Florida. The group comprises rappers Bernardo "Bernz" Garcia and Ben "Wrekonize" Miller, along with producer and percussionist Andrews "NonMS" Mujica. Kevin Danell Mann (born January 10, 1970), better known by his stage name Brotha Lynch Hung, is an American rapper, songwriter and record producer from Sacramento, California who has been described as "the creator of horrorcore rap." Jonathan Matthew McCollum (born August 16, 1980), better known by his stage name Rittz, is an American rapper. His debut album ''The Life and Times of Jonny Valiant'' was released on April 30, 2013, rising to number 8 on ''Billboard'' Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. Krizz Kaliko
Samuel William Christopher Watson IV (born March 7, 1974), better known by his stage name Krizz Kaliko, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and voice actor. He is a longtime collaborator with fellow hometown native Tech N9ne and was signed to Strange Music from its inception in 1999 up to forming his own label Ear House Inc. in 2021. Career Krizz Kaliko began his musical career in the late 1990s when he began working with local producer IcyRoc Kraven. Another local rapper by the name of Tech N9ne was also collaborating with IcyRoc at the time, which led to the two rappers meeting.
