''Strang3r'' ("stranger") is the third extended play by South Korean girl group Ladies' Code and their first without EunB and RiSe. Ladies' Code
Ladies' Code () is a South Korean girl group formed by Polaris Entertainment in 2013. The group's original lineup consisted of leader Ashley and members Kwon Ri-se, RiSe, EunB, Lee So-jung (singer), Sojung, and Zuny. They made their debut with the mini-album ''Code 01 Bad Girl, Code#01'' and the lead track "Bad Girl", which were released on March 7, 2013. On September 3, 2014, the group was involved in a car crash that resulted in the deaths of EunB and Rise. Ladies' Code returned as a trio in February 2016 with the extended play ''Myst3ry''. In October 2016, they issued "The Rain" from their EP ''Strang3r''. The group left Polaris in February 2020 following the expiration of their contracts. ''Myst3ry'' ("mystery") is the first single album recorded by South Korean girl group Ladies' Code. The album debuted at number fourteen on Gaon Album Chart. The lead single, "Galaxy", peaked at number thirteen on Gaon Download Chart with 52,040 downloads in four days and number thirty-six on Gaon Single Chart. Background On September 3, 2014, the group was involved in a car accident that ultimately claimed the lives of members EunB and RiSe. In the following months, the remaining members went on hiatus to focus on their physical and mental recovery, eventually resuming practice schedules while continuing to receive counseling and follow-up medical treatment. Blockberry Creative (Hangul: 블록베리크리에이티브) is a South Korean record label formed in 2016. It is a subsidiary of Polaris Entertainment. The label is home to the girl group Loona and soloist Sunye. History Blockberry Creative was officially established on March 22, 2016, as a subsidiary label of Polaris Entertainment. On October 2, 2016, Blockberry Creative launched their first girl group project, Loona (; lit ''Girl of the Month''), which was expected to run for 18 months. The project would individually introduce each member of the new group by releasing a solo single, and by March 2018 all members had been introduced. Kwon Ri-se
Kwon Ri-se (August 16, 1991 – September 7, 2014), better known by her stage name Rise, was a Japanese singer of Korean descent. She was a member of the South Korean girl group Ladies' Code under Polaris Entertainment. Prior to her joining Ladies' Code, she participated in Miss Korea 2009 and was crowned as "Miss Korea Japan Jin". She was one of the Top 12 contestants of MBC's ''Star Audition The Great Birth''. She died in a car crash at age 23. Biography Kwon was born in Japan and was a fourth-generation Korean Japanese. She attended Fukushima , Tokyo Korean School and completed her university education at Seikei University, majoring in Economics and Business Administration. Before joining Ladies' Code, Kwon was also active as a model and previously participated in Miss Korea 2009 as the Japan representative. K-pop (), short for Korean popular music, is a form of popular music originating in South Korea as part of South Korean culture.
