Strained Relations
"Strained Relations" is an episode of the BBC sitcom, ''Only Fools and Horses''. It was the second episode of series 4, and was first screened on 28 February 1985. Synopsis It is a sad day for Del Boy and Rodney Trotter, Rodney, as their Grandad (Only Fools and Horses), Grandad has died. They have attended Grandad's funeral, along with Mike, Boycie, Trigger (Only Fools and Horses), Trigger, and the North London branch of the Trotter family. Back at the wake in Nelson Mandela House, Rodney is angry to find that Del is drinking and laughing with his friends instead of mourning. Del and Rodney also meet Grandad's younger brother, their Uncle Albert, who lives with Del and Rodney's cousins Stan and Jean in North London. Only Fools And Horses
''Only Fools and Horses....'' is a British television sitcom created and written by John Sullivan. Seven series were originally broadcast on BBC One in the United Kingdom from 1981 to 1991, with sixteen sporadic Christmas specials aired until the end of the show in 2003. "From Prussia with Love" is an episode of the BBC sitcom, ''Only Fools and Horses''. It was the first episode of Series 5, and was first broadcast on 31 August 1986. In the episode, the Trotters meet a pregnant German girl and invite her to stay at the flat. Synopsis During another night at ''The Nag's Head'', Del Boy, Rodney, and Albert meet a frightened 19-year-old German girl who tells them that she has been in England for a year working as an au pair for another family called the Wainwrights, until they threw her out. While Del and Albert head off home, the girl introduces herself to Rodney as Anna. Lennard Pearce
Lennard Pearce (9 February 1915 – 15 December 1984) was an English actor who worked in theatre and television. He was perhaps best known as Grandad in the BBC television series ''Only Fools and Horses'', in which he starred from 1981 until his death in December 1984. Early life Pearce was born on February 9, 1915, in Paddington. He trained as an actor at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. Career Theatre As a young actor in the 1930s, Pearce joined a performance tour in Germany. According to Nicholas Lyndhurst, one theatrical performance was attended by senior members of the Nazi Party. At the end of the show, party officials came backstage to congratulate the cast, and Pearce shook hands with Adolf Hitler. John Challis
John Spurley Challis (16 August 1942 – 19 September 2021) was an English actor. He had an extensive theatre and television career but is best known for portraying Terrance Aubrey "Boycie" Boyce in the long-running BBC Television sitcom ''Only Fools and Horses'' (1981–2003) and its sequel/spin-off ''The Green Green Grass'' (2005–2009), as well as Monty Staines from the seventh series onwards in the ITV sitcom '' Benidorm'' (2015–2018). Roger Anthony Lloyd-Pack (8 February 1944 – 16 January 2014) was an English actor. Michael David Fisher (born 12 December 1950 in Acton) is a fictional character in the BBC sitcom ''Only Fools and Horses''. He was publican of the Nag's Head, the fictional Peckham pub that frequently serves as a setting in the show. Mike was portrayed by Kenneth MacDonald, and appeared in the show from 1983 to 1996. Mike first appeared in ''Only Fools and Horses'' in the episode, '' Who's a Pretty Boy?'', in which Del ingratiated himself with the new landlord by agreeing to a deal which would see Mike accept Del's £2,000 offer to re-decorate the pub, leaving them with £500 apiece and using the remaining £1,000 to pay Brendan O'Shaughnessy. Kenneth MacDonald (20 November 1950 – 6 August 2001) was an English actor who was best known for the parts of Gunner Nobby Clark in ''It Ain't Half Hot Mum'' and Mike Fisher in ''Only Fools and Horses''.
