Yordan Ivanov Stoykov ( bg, Йордан Иванов Стойков; born 6 November 1951) is a Bulgarian professional football player and manager. Career Yordan Stoykov played as a defender in Lokomotiv Sofia from 1970 to 1983, as record 336 appearances for his home club. With it he became champion in 1978 and has won the Bulgarian Cup in 1982. Todor Stoykov (born 3 March 1977 in Varna) is a Bulgarian retired professional basketball player, who played for Cherno More, Cordivari Roseto, Scafati Basket, Valencia BC and Lukoil Academic. At 1.98 m, his position was shooting guard/small forward. He was also a member of the Bulgarian national basketball team, before retiring in 2009. Biography Early life He was born in Kotel to a wealthy and patriotic family. He attended monastery schools in his hometown and in Karlovo, and in 1837, went to study in the Greek Orthodox College in Istanbul. In 1841, he was sentenced to death whilst involved in revolutionary plans against the Turks, but thanks to a Greek friend,he managed to escape to Marseille.
