Awvee Storey (born April 18, 1977) is a former American professional basketball player and assistant coach for the Connecticut Sun of the WNBA. He played the shooting guard/small forward position. High school career Born in Chicago, Illinois, Storey formed a relationship with Bennet Wang who ran an inner-city basketball league. Storey's mother relinquished Storey into Bennet Wang's care. Storey attended Proviso West High School in Hillside, Illinois, in 1996-97, he played for New Hampton Prep. William Benson Storey
William Benson Storey, Jr. (November 17, 1857 – October 24, 1940) was the fifteenth president of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway. Storey was born November 17, 1857, in San Francisco, California, the son of William Bainbridge Storey, an express, stagecoach and newspaper agent, and Ellen Dean (Benson) Storey. His family moved around following his father's career until 1866 when they settled in Colfax. in 1876, Storey started his railroad career with the Southern Pacific Railroad as a stake driver on the line between Oakland and Berkeley. He used his earnings from that summer and the following year to finance his college education, and he graduated from the University of California in 1881 with a mechanical engineering degree. He hired out with the Central Pacific Railroad and soon found himself working throughout Idaho, Utah and South Dakota as well as the California coast. Simon Storey (born 5 June 1982) is an Australian footballer. Club career Storey began his senior career at Springvale City in State League 1 for one season at the age of 16 whilst on scholarship with the Victorian Institute of Sport for 3 years. Sidney Storey (25 December 1919 – 6 April 2010) was an English professional footballer who played as an inside forward. Storey played for Ardsley Welfare and Grimethorpe Athletic in non-League football while working as a miner, before joining Huddersfield Town in 1943. After leaving them he played for Wombwell Athletic before moving to York City in 1947. He played for York in the FA Cup semi-final in 1955 and left a year later after making 354 appearances to join hometown club Barnsley. He later had periods with Accrington Stanley and Bradford Park Avenue before returning to York as trainer-coach for three years. Sean Storey (born 19 August 1971 in Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire, England) is a former English professional snooker player. His best ranking performance to date came in the World Championship in 2003, where he defeated Joe Perry before bowing out in the last 16, losing 7–13 to John Higgins. Previously he had qualified for the World Championship in 2001, but lost 10–9 to Joe Swail after leading 9–7. His best season was 2002/03 when he won 28 matches overall - the most out of anyone on the tour. He suffered a drop in form in the following season, winning just three matches (although he was now entering tournaments at a later stage). William Robson Storey (16 July 1936 – 2 August 2019), generally known as Rob Storey, was a New Zealand politician. He was an MP from 1984 to 1996, representing the National Party. He was first elected to Parliament in the 1984 election as MP for Waikato, and retained that seat until his departure from Parliament at the 1996 election. He served for a time as a junior minister. Before entering politics, Storey was a farmer at Waiterimu in the Waikato, and was the president of Federated Farmers from 1981 to 1984. He was educated at Wesley College, Auckland. Roy Alvin "Red" Storey, (March 5, 1918 – March 15, 2006) was a Canadian athlete, referee and broadcaster. He played football, lacrosse and ice hockey. While active as an athlete, he turned to officiating in all three sports and continued as an official after the end of his playing career. He is best known for being a referee for the National Hockey League professional ice hockey league. While he was a member of the Toronto Argonauts, the team won the Grey Cup Canadian championship twice. He later became a radio and television commentator for Canadian television.
