Jarret Stoll
Jarret Lee Stoll (born June 24, 1982) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player. Stoll has played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Edmonton Oilers, Los Angeles Kings, New York Rangers and Minnesota Wild. He is a two-time Stanley Cup champion, winning with Los Angeles in 2012 and 2014. Stoll is currently part of the player development department for the Kings. Playing career Minor Stoll played his early minor hockey in Saskatchewan. Clifford Paul "Cliff" Stoll (born June 4, 1950) is an American astronomer, author and teacher. He is best known for his investigation in 1986, while working as a systems administrator at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, that led to the capture of hacker Markus Hess, and for Stoll's subsequent book ''The Cuckoo's Egg'', in which he details the investigation. Stoll has written three books, articles in the non-specialist press (e.g., in ''Scientific American'') on the Curta mechanical calculator and the slide rule, and is a frequent contributor to the mathematics YouTube channel ''Numberphile''. Cal Stoll
Calvin C. Stoll (December 12, 1923 – August 25, 2000) was an American football player and coach. He played Defensive End for the Minnesota Golden Gophers in the 1948 and 1949 seasons. Before graduating from Minnesota in June 1950, Stoll was named the head coach at Mound High School (later renamed to Mound Westonka High School) on May 10, 1950. At Mound High School, he achieved a 6-1 record and a Lake Conference co-championship. After the 1950 high school football season, Stoll jumped to the college ranks where he served as an assistant coach from 1951 to 1968. As an assistant coach at Michigan State, he helped the team achieve back to back National Championships in 1965 and 1966. He served as the head coach at Wake Forest University from 1969 to 1971 where he led the Demon Deacons to their first Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Championship in 1970. David Matthew Stoll (born 1952) is an American cultural anthropologist. His research has focused on the indigenous peoples of modern Latin America, and especially on the Mayas in Guatemala. He has been a professor of anthropology at Middlebury College since 1997. Education and early work Stoll studied anthropology at the University of Michigan. He became interested in Protestant evangelism in Latin America and, as an independent researcher, investigated the role of the Summer Institute of Linguistics, focusing on its ties with Evangelical missionary work among the indigenous populations (see Wycliffe Bible Translators), as well as with its possible covert ties with the anti-communist foreign policy of the United States government. Caspar Stoll (Hesse-Kassel, probably between 1725 and 1730 – Amsterdam, December 1791) was a naturalist and entomologist, best known for the completion of ''De Uitlandsche Kapellen'', a work on butterflies begun by Pieter Cramer. He also published several works of his own on other insect groups. Stoll's 1787 publication on stick insects, mantises, and their relatives is also well known. It was translated into French in 1813. Ingeborg Stoll-Laforge (11 February 1930, Breinig - Stolberg (Rhineland), Germany – 24 August 1958) was a female German motorcycle racer. Early life Ingeborg Stoll-Laforge was born on 11 February 1930, in Breinig Stolberg (Rhineland), near Aachen, Germany to Maria (nee Moll) and Kurt Stoll. Her parents raced together, with Maria as Kurt's motorcycle sidecar passenger. Inge took over her mother's role in the sidecar when she turned 17. Early life Jonathan Edward Stoll was born in Mamaroneck, N.Y. on November 6, 1953 to Marjorie and Larry Stoll. As a 15-year-old student in Mamaroneck, Stoll decided to raise money for his school by staging a battle of the bands. He also gained valuable experience working backstage at New York-area theaters, and at 18 he was managing a rock band.
