Orville Stoeber
Orville Stoeber (born June 20, 1947) is an American singer/songwriter, actor and artist. He is primarily known for his 1971 album ''Songs'' on UNI records (MCA), his work as score composer for the horror film '' Let's Scare Jessica to Death'' (1971), and his collaboration with author Margaret Atwood on ''Hymns of the God's Gardeners'' (2009), utilizing lyrics from '' The Year of the Flood'' (2009), the second book of her science fiction trilogy '' MaddAddam''. Music and acting career After leaving the University of Nebraska for New York in the late 1960s, Stoeber, an Army brat, found work in the off-Broadway theater scene. One of his first jobs was as a singer in Robert Joffrey's 1967 multimedia ballet, '' Astarte''. He also wrote music for A.R. Gurney Jr.'s ''Tonight! In Living Color!'' Jack Stoeber
John Bernhard Stoeber (July 21, 1898 – November 19, 1971) was an American college football player and coach. Early life John Bernhard Stoeber was born on July 21, 1898, in Reading, Pennsylvania. Stoeber starred in athletics at Reading High School and graduated from there in 1917. He also took up athletics in Springfield College in Springfield, Massachusetts, and graduated with a bachelor of physical education in 1925. He attended Columbia University from 1930 to 1931 and from 1934 to 1935 and attained a Master of Arts degree. He continued his education and took part in classes and coaching clinics at 10 different schools in his life. While in college, he was a student instructor in football, gymnastics and track in Springfield. Career From 1921 to 1924, Stoeber was a playground supervisor in Reading and Wyomissing. Adolphe Stoeber
Adolphe Stoeber, or Adolf Stöber (Strasbourg, 1810 – Mulhouse, 1892) was a French ecclesiastic and writer in German language from Alsace. He was Ehrenfried Stoeber's son and Auguste Stoeber's brother. He studied theology and was a Protestant priest in Metz (1832), Oberbronn (1836) and Mulhouse, where he was president at the Reformist Assembly. In 1838, he founded the publication Erwinia ''Erwinia'' is a genus of Enterobacterales bacteria containing mostly plant pathogenic species which was named for the famous plant pathologist, Erwin Frink Smith. It contains Gram-negative bacteria related to ''Escherichia coli'', ''Shigella'' ... with his brother. This magazine dealt with Alsatian and Swiss legends in Alsatian.
