Stockholm County (Riksdag Constituency)
Stockholm County ( sv, Stockholms Län) is one of the 29 multi-member constituencies of the Riksdag, the national legislature of Sweden. The constituency was established in 1970 when the Riksdag changed from a bicameral legislature to a unicameral legislature. It is conterminous with the county of Stockholm but excludes Stockholm Municipality which has its own constituency. The constituency currently elects 40 of the 349 members of the Riksdag using the open party-list proportional representation electoral system. At the 2022 general election it had 1,006,456 registered electors. The Riksdag (, ; also sv, riksdagen or ''Sveriges riksdag'' ) is the legislature and the supreme decision-making body of Sweden. Gulan Avci (born 20 August 1977) is a Swedish politician of Kurdish descent, representing the Liberal Party. She was elected deputy Member of Parliament in 2006 and served March – September 2009 and February – April 2010. Julia Kronlid
Julia Maria Kronlid (born 16 July 1980) is a Swedish politician for the Sweden Democrats and a member of the Riksdagen since the 2010 general election. She represents the Stockholm County electorate. The Green Party ( sv, Miljöpartiet de gröna, lit=Environmental Party the Greens, commonly referred to in Swedish as Miljöpartiet or MP) is a political party in Sweden based on green politics. . Sparked by the anti-nuclear power movement following the 1980 nuclear power referendum, the party was founded in 1981 out of a discontent with the existing parties' environmental policies.
