''Still Life (American Concert 1981)'' is a live album by the English rock band the Rolling Stones, released on 1 June 1982. Recorded during the band's 1981 Rolling Stones American Tour 1981, American tour, it was released in time for their 1982 Rolling Stones European Tour 1982, European tour. The album cover is a painting by Japanese artist Kazuhide Yamazaki, whose work inspired the tour's stage design. Release and reception The album was preceded by the release of a cover version of the Miracles' "Going to a Go-Go (song), Going to a Go-Go", which became a Top 30 hit in the United Kingdom and United States; the follow-up single, "Time Is on My Side", reached the lower part of the UK chart. The Rolling Stones are an English rock band formed in London in 1962. Active for six decades, they are one of the most popular and enduring bands of the rock era. In the early 1960s, the Rolling Stones pioneered the gritty, rhythmically driven sound that came to define hard rock.
