Stijn Spierings
Stijn Spierings (born 12 March 1996) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for club Toulouse, on loan from Lens. Club career Born in Alkmaar, Spierings began his youth career and professional career with his local team AZ. Having broken into the first team he played on just two occasions in his first season, against PSV and Excelsior. He was then loaned to Sparta Rotterdam and played a role in their successful campaign to get promoted from the Eerste Divisie. At the end of that season Spierings signed a permanent deal with the club and has played in the youth team. On 7 January 2019, he signed a one-and-a-half-year contract with RKC Waalwijk. One year later, on 13 January 2020, Spierings moved abroad, signing a three-year deal with Bulgarian First League side Levski Sofia. RC Lens
Racing Club de Lens (, commonly referred to as RC Lens or simply Lens) is a French professional football club based in the northern city of Lens in the Pas-de-Calais department. During the 2015–16 season AZ competed in the Eredivisie for the 18th consecutive season the KNVB Beker and the Europa League after qualifying for the 3rd qualification round due to finishing 3rd the previous season. The Eredivisie (; ''"Honour Division"'' or ''"Premier Division"'') is the highest level of professional football in the Netherlands. The league was founded in 1956, two years after the start of professional football in the Netherlands. It is considered one of the best European leagues. 2014–15 AZ Alkmaar Season
During the 2014–15 season, AZ competed in the Eredivisie for the 17th consecutive season and the KNVB CUP under new manager Marco van Basten, and then John van den Brom after Van Basten relinquished his role after health issues, becoming assistant to Van den Brom. Under Gertjan Verbeek and Dick Advocaat the previous season, AZ lost their title of KNVB Cup to PEC Zwolle after being eliminated in the semi-finals by eventual league winners Ajax and finishing eighth in the league. The Coupe de France, formerly known as the Coupe Charles Simon, is the premier knockout cup competition in French football organized by the French Football Federation (FFF). It was first held in 1917 and is open to all amateur and professional football clubs in France, including clubs based in the overseas departments and territories. The Bulgarian Cup ( bg, Купа на България, Kupa na Bulgaria) is a Bulgarian annual football competition. It is the country's main cup competition and all officially registered Bulgarian football teams take part in it. The tournament's format is ''single-elimination'', with all matches being one-legged, except the semi-finals. The competition's winner gets the right to take part in the UEFA Europa Conference League. If the winner has already secured a place through the Bulgarian A Professional Football Group, the team that has come ''fourth'' in the championship substitutes it. Patrice Garande
Patrice Garande (born 27 November 1960) is a French former professional footballer who played as a striker, currently a manager. Playing career Club Born in Oullins, Rhône, Garande finished his development at AS Saint-Étienne, but appeared rarely for the first team during his tenure. In 1981, following a spell in the Swiss Super League with CS Chênois, he signed with AJ Auxerre, scoring a career-best 21 goals in the 1983–84 season to help them finish in third place in Ligue 1 and becoming top scorer in the process. After leaving the Stade de l'Abbé-Deschamps in the summer of 1986, Garande went on to represent, in the French top division, FC Nantes, Saint-Étienne, Montpellier HSC, Le Havre AC and FC Sochaux-Montbéliard, eventually amassing competition totals of 314 matches and 97 goals.
