Stig Johansen
Stig Johansen (born 13 June 1972 in Kabelvåg, Lofoten) is a former Norwegian football striker. He made his debut for Bodø/Glimt in 1993 and played 70 games before he was signed by English Premiership side Southampton, in 1997. His spell at the English side was spent mostly in the reserves and rarely played for the Saints. He also spent a period on loan at Bristol City, before being transferred to Swedish side Helsingborgs IF. In 2002, he returned to Bodø/Glimt. He has won three caps for Norway. He announced his retirement in October 2009., but made a comeback in 2011 after being given a one-year contract with Bodø/Glimt. On 31 August 2014 Johansen made comeback for his home club Kabelvåg, he just played one game to finish his career for good. Kabelvåg is a village in Vågan Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. It is located on the southern shore of the island of Austvågøya in the Lofoten archipelago. Kabelvåg lies about to the southwest of the town of Svolvær, the administrative centre of Vågan municipality. The village has a population (2018) of 1,883 which gives the village a population density of . The village was founded as ''"Vågan"'' in the early 12th century by King Øystein Magnusson, who built a church and a fishermen's hostel there. The Norwegian First Division, also called 1. divisjon and OBOS-ligaen (named sponsor is property developer OBOS), is the second-highest level of the Norwegian football league system. The 2005 season was the 100th season of competitive football in Norway. Men's football League season Tippeligaen Vålerenga won the 2005 Tippeligaen, while Aalesunds FK and FK Bodø/Glimt were relegated. Molde FK had to play two qualification matches against Moss from the 1. divisjon. Molde won the qualification matches and maintained their position in Tippeligaen. The greatest surprises of the 2005 season were the great performance of IK Start, promoted to the Tippeligaen in the 2004 season and ended up winning silver, and the disappointing performance of Rosenborg BK which fought against relegation from the Tippeligaen after winning it for 13 straight seasons.
