''Stick 'Em Up'' is the fifth studio album by Canadian rock-blues band The Perpetrators, released in 2013. The album is autobiographical, telling the story of two times that the lead guitarist Jason Nowicki, was held at gunpoint. The Perpetrators are a Canadian rock / blues band formed in 1999 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. The band was nominated for a 2006 Juno Award in the Blues Album of the Year category for '' The Gas and the Clutch''. History Currently they are J "Howik" Nowicki (guitar, vocals), Ken "KMac" McMahon (drums, vocals) and John "Josco" Scoles (bass, vocals). Their best known songs include "Six Pack" and "She Lets Me Know". Past members include Ryan Menard, Scotty Hills, Chris "MAMA" Bauer, Chris Carmichael and Chris Saywell (also of the D.Rangers). They have played back up for Hubert Sumlin, Louisiana Red, Paul "Wine" Jones, Downchild Blues Band, George "Wild Child" Butler, Jim Byrnes, Kenny Brown, and Cedric Burnside, as well as recording with Juno winners Sue Foley and Big Dave McLean. Blues
Blues is a music genre and musical form which originated in the Deep South of the United States around the 1860s. Blues incorporated spirituals, work songs, field hollers, shouts, chants, and rhymed simple narrative ballads from the African-American culture. Walter De Paduwa
Walter de Paduwa (aka Dr Boogie, born 1 February 1953) is a Belgian radio DJ, musician and rock'n'roll historian best known for his association with Canned Heat. Rock career Walter de Paduwa was active in the Belgian rock scene of the early 1970s, forming the band T.U.S.H. in 1976 with Dany Lademacher and Charles Deraedemaecker (Charlie Maker) of the classic Brussels group Klepto. The band was originally named Toxic Cow-Dung, then Squeeze, and was to be renamed Tush after the ZZ Top song of that name, but on their album ''We're Just Boys'' (September 1977) the recording company (EMI) put full-stops between each letter creating the name that stuck as T.U.S.H. The album had limited success though the December 1977 single "No No No" was belatedly rediscovered as an example of classic glam-punk.
