Stevče Aluševski
Stevche Alushovski ( mk, Стевче Алушовски; born 1 October 1972) is a retired Macedonian-Australian handball player and current coach of GRK Ohrid. Career Stevche Alushovski was born in Sydney, Australia, but in his early childhood, he returned to Bitola with his family. His handball career began in Bitola, in the youth team of RK Pelister. At the age of 17, in the 1990/1991 season, he became a first team member at Bitola club. During his career, he played for: RK Pelister, RK Prespa, RK Vardar PRO and RK Metalurg Skopje. He has won the Macedonian First League of Handball 13 times and the Macedonian Handball Cup 11 times. In 2004, he was proclaimed for the best handball player in Macedonia. For the Macedonian national handball team, he played more than 200 matches and scored more than 900 goals. 2012 European Men's Handball Championship
The 2012 EHF European Men's Handball Championship was the tenth edition of the men's continental handball tournament, which was held in Serbia between 15 and 29 January 2012. Sixteen teams qualified for the event, including host nation Serbia, defending champion France and fourteen national teams through the qualifying tournament. The teams were split into four groups of 4, with the top 3 teams of each group advancing to the main round, carrying the points won against other qualified opponents. 2009 World Men's Handball Championship
The 2009 World Men's Handball Championship (21st tournament) took place in Croatia from 16 January to 1 February, in the cities of Split, Zadar, Osijek, Varaždin, Poreč, Zagreb and Pula. Croatia was selected from a group of four potential hosts which included the Czech Republic, Greece and Romania. The opening game and ceremony were held in Split, and the final game was played in Zagreb. France won the tournament after defeating Croatia in the final. Poland took the third place after winning over Denmark. Tickets for the tournament went on sale from 15 to 20 November. For the finals, ticket prices started at 700 kuna (c. €95).
