Stevenson Adonis (born 22 September 1977), best known as Adonis Stevenson, is a Haitian Canadian former professional boxer who competed from 2006 to 2018. He won the WBC, ''Ring'' magazine and lineal light-heavyweight titles in 2013 by defeating Chad Dawson by first-round knockout, which earned him awards for Fighter of the Year and Knockout of the Year by ''The Ring''. Coke Robert Stevenson (March 20, 1888 – June 28, 1975) was an American politician who served as the 35th governor of Texas from 1941 to 1947. He was the first Texan politician to hold its three highest offices (Speaker of the Texas House of Representatives, lieutenant governor, and governor), as well as the only one to do so in the 20th Century. DeShawn Stevenson (born April 3, 1981) is an American former professional basketball player. Stevenson played for six teams in the National Basketball Association (NBA) during a 13-year career. He originally committed to play at the University of Kansas, but decided to enter the NBA directly from high school and was picked by the Utah Jazz with the 23rd selection of the 2000 NBA draft. Alexander Campbell Stevenson (November 21, 1802 – January 2, 1889) was an American farmer, physician, and politician. Stevenson was born in Woodford County, Kentucky, and after briefly living in Indiana in 1821, he studied medicine at Transylvania University in Lexington, Kentucky.
