Steven Wayne Horton
Steven Wayne Horton (February 24, 1954–August 7, 2006) was an American country music singer. Horton's eponymous debut album was released by Capitol Nashville in 1989. Its first single, "Roll Over", was his only song to enter the ''Billboard'' Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart, peaking at No. 68 in 1989. A second single, "Tennessee Plates," peaked at No. 80 on the '' RPM'' Country Tracks chart in Canada. Biography Steven Wayne Horton was born in Memphis, Tennessee. He took musical inspiration from Jerry Lee Lewis and Elvis Presley, and began playing guitar in fourth grade. In his preteen years, he formed a band that performed cover versions of rockabilly songs. John Marty Stuart (born September 30, 1958) is an American country and bluegrass music singer, songwriter, and musician. Active since 1968, Stuart initially toured with Lester Flatt, and then in Johnny Cash's road band before beginning work as a solo artist in the early 1980s. His greatest commercial success came in the first half of the 1990s on MCA Records Nashville. Stuart has recorded over 20 studio albums, and has charted over 30 times on the '' Billboard'' Hot Country Songs charts. John Hiatt
John Robert Hiatt (born August 20, 1952) is an American singer-songwriter. He has played a variety of musical styles on his albums, including new wave, blues, and country. Hiatt has been nominated for nine Grammy Awards and has been awarded a variety of other distinctions in the music industry. Hiatt was working as a songwriter for Tree International, a record label in Nashville, Tennessee, when his song " Sure As I'm Sittin' Here" was covered by Three Dog Night. The ''Gavin Report'' was a San Francisco-based radio industry trade publication. The publication was founded by radio performer Bill Gavin in 1958. Its Top 40 listings were used for many years by programmers to decide content of programs. The publication was also responsible for running the Gavin Seminar, a convention for radio industry members. In February 2002, United Business Media, who had owned the Gavin Report since 1992, decided to close the publication.
