Steven V. White
Steven Virgil White was born October 3, 1928, in Loma Linda, California. He died December 16, 1988. White graduated from the University of California at Berkeley in 1951. He spent six years with the Atomic Energy Commission in Washington, D.C., and Hinsdale, Illinois. in 1961, White began working with the Bechtel Corporation as the contracts manager in the legal department. He was elevated to vice-president in 1971, senior vice-president in 1973. From 1980 until his death, he was president of Bechtel Investments. When he died, White was president of the Oakland Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, a position he had held less than three months. He had previously served in a counselor to the previous president, as well as a bishop and in other capacities. Loma Linda, California
Loma Linda (Spanish for "Beautiful Hill") is a city in San Bernardino County, California, United States, that was incorporated in 1970. The population was 24,791 at the 2020 census, up from 23,261 at the 2010 census. The central area of the city was originally known as Mound City, while its eastern half was originally the unincorporated community of Bryn Mawr. History The Tongva village of Wa’aachnga, or as the Spanish referred to it as the Guachama Rancheria, was located at what is now Loma Linda. The rancheria was later occupied by the Cahuilla and Serrano after it was established as a mission outpost for Mission San Gabriel in the early 1800s. Utah Symphony
The Utah Symphony is an American orchestra based in Salt Lake City, Utah. The orchestra's principal venue is Abravanel Hall. In addition to its Salt Lake City subscription concerts, the orchestra travels around the Intermountain West serving communities throughout Utah. The orchestra accompanies the Utah Opera in four productions per year at Salt Lake's Capitol Theatre. KOIT (96.5 FM) is a commercial adult contemporary radio station licensed to San Francisco, California. The station has studios along Junipero Serra Boulevard in Daly City, and transmits from Sutro Tower in San Francisco, with a power output of 24,000 watts effective radiated power. The signal can be received throughout the Bay Area with relative ease. There is also a booster station in Martinez, California called KOIT-3 that improves the coverage in the Diablo Valley area.
