Steve Taylor (born 1968) is a New Zealand pastor and missiologist. He is a leading voice in the emerging church movement in New Zealand. Taylor has degrees from Lincoln University, the University of Auckland, and the University of Otago. He served as the senior pastor of Opawa Baptist Church, and the founding pastor of Graceway Baptist Church in Ellerslie, New Zealand. Taylor taught at Carey Baptist College, Laidlaw College and Flinders University before serving as Principal of the Uniting College for Leadership and Theology from 2012 to 2015. Steven Ryan Taylor (born November 9, 1993) is an American cricketer. He was the captain of the United States cricket team but was dismissed from the role in September 2017. He is regarded as one of the best batsmen in USA Cricket History and also as a premier Allrounder in the country with his off-breaks. Steve Taylor (born 11 July 1965) is an American long-distance runner. He won the 10,000 metres at the 1988 USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships and represented the United States at the 1991 World Marathon Championships. John Mahan
John Mahan, (January 26, 1851 – 1895?) was a 19th-century Irish-born American bare-knuckle boxer and pugilist. He was a noted heavyweight fighter in the Northeastern United States during the 1870s and billed as having "an unbeaten record" until his prizefight with future heavyweight champion John L. Sullivan in 1881. Sullivan rose to national prominence as a result of his victory while Mahan went into semi-retirement, taking part in numerous exhibition bouts during the 1880s. Mahan later toured the U.S. with Sullivan and became one of his chief sparring partners. Steve Taylor (born January 7, 1967) is an American former professional football player who was a quarterback in the Canadian Football League (CFL). Taylor had signed a four-year contract with the Edmonton Eskimos just one month after finishing his senior season at the University of Nebraska. The dual-threat QB was selected in the twelfth round of the 1989 NFL Draft by the Indianapolis Colts in April, but Taylor was already committed to playing in the CFL. Steve Taylor & The Perfect Foil is an American alternative rock supergroup (music), supergroup formed in 2010 by singer Steve Taylor with drummer Peter Furler (Newsboys, Peter Furler Band), guitarist Jimmy Abegg (Vector (band), Vector, A Ragamuffin Band), and bassist John Mark Painter (Fleming and John).
