Steven T. Seagle
Steven T. Seagle (born March 31, 1965) is an American writer who works in the comic book, television, film, live theater, video game and animation industries. He is best known for his graphic novel memoir '' It's a Bird...'' (Vertigo, May 2004), and as part of his Man of Action Studios (with Duncan Rouleau, Joe Casey and Joe Kelly) which created the animated Cartoon Network series ''Ben 10''. Seagle is also a founding member of Speak Theater Arts, creators of live stage productions, and is a former college instructor having taught at Ball State University, Pasadena City College and Mt. San Antonio College, where he also served as a coach for the Forensics team during many of their national championship seasons. Early life Seagle was born in Biloxi, MS. New York Comic Con
The New York Comic Con is an annual New York City fan convention dedicated to Western comics, graphic novels, anime, manga, video games, cosplay, toys, movies, and television. It was first held in 2006. History The New York Comic Con is a for-profit event produced and managed by ReedPop, a division of Reed Exhibitions and Reed Elsevier, and is not affiliated with the long running non-profit San Diego Comic-Con, nor the Big Apple Convention, later known as the Big Apple Comic-Con, owned by Wizard Entertainment. Joe Kelly (comics)
Joseph Kelly (born 1971) is an American comic book writer, penciler and editor who has written such titles as ''Deadpool'', ''Uncanny X-Men'', ''Action Comics'', and '' JLA'', as well as award-winning work on ''The Amazing Spider-Man'' and '' Superman''. As part of the comics creator group Man of Action Studios, Kelly is one of the creators of the animated series ''Ben 10''. Career Kelly attended Freeport High School and went on to receive his MFA at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, where he still teaches Writing for Animation/Writing for Comics. At NYU, he was recruited into Marvel Comics' editor James Felder's '' Stan-hattan Project'', a program that trained potential comic book writers at the university. After six months of working in the class, Felder offered Kelly a job scripting '' Fantastic Four 2099'' over a Karl Kesel plot. Avengers (comics)
The Avengers are a team of superheroes appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The team made its debut in '' The Avengers'' #1 (cover-dated Sept. 1963), created by writer-editor Stan Lee and artist/co-plotter Jack Kirby. Labeled "Earth's Mightiest Heroes", the original Avengers consisted of Iron Man, Ant-Man, Hulk, Thor and the Wasp. Captain America was discovered trapped in ice in issue #4, and joined the group after they revived him. The Avengers are an all-star ensemble cast of established superhero characters from the Marvel Comics portfolio. Diegetically, these superheroes usually operate independently but occasionally assemble as a team to tackle especially formidable villains. Mysterio
Mysterio (Quentin Beck) is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, the character first appeared in ''The Amazing Spider-Man'' #13 (June 1964). He is primarily depicted as an adversary of the superheroes Spider-Man and Daredevil. While Mysterio does not possess any superhuman abilities, he is a former special effects artist, illusionist and actor who uses his talents to commit crimes. He is a founding member of the supervillain team the Sinister Six. The character has appeared in numerous media adaptations, including feature films, television series and video games.
