Steven Rumbelow
Steven Rumbelow (also credited as Steve Rumbelow, 30 July 1949 − 27 February 2016), was a director in the entertainment industry for more than four decades. He began in theatre at the Bristol Old Vic, subsequently becoming the youngest director for the Royal Shakespeare Company in London before forming Triple Action Theatre and then later starting on films. His career has been a melange between media productions and theatre ever since. Rumbelow operated his own production company in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Renegade Motion Pictures, with his wife, Rachel, until his sudden death from sepsis on 27 February 2016. Bristol Old Vic
Bristol Old Vic is a British theatre company based at the Theatre Royal, Bristol. The present company was established in 1946 as an offshoot of the Old Vic in London. It is associated with the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, which became a financially independent organisation in the 1990s. Bristol Old Vic runs a Young Company for those aged 7–25. The Theatre Royal, the oldest continually-operating theatre in the English-speaking world, was built between 1764 and 1766 on King Street in Bristol. The Coopers' Hall, built 1743–44, was incorporated as the theatre's foyer during 1970–72. Together, they are designated a Grade I listed building by Historic England. CTV Sci-Fi Channel is a Canadian English language specialty channel owned by Bell Media. The channel primarily broadcasts speculative fiction and related programming. The network was launched on October 17, 1997 as Space under its original parent company CHUM Limited. Its slogan, ''The Imagination Station'', continued to be used informally by its fans for several years after its retirement. ''Beyond'' is a Canadian paranormal documentary television series created by Steven Rumbelow and produced by Renegade Motion Pictures. The show premiered on Space and ran from 2005 to 2007. Robin Poitras was the hostess in seasons one and two, and Alannah Myles took on the role for seasons three and four. Episodes have been available on Hulu, Amazon Video, YouTube on Demand, and various other digital platforms. The show uses interviews with eyewitness, well-respected academics, such as physicists, and paranormal practitioners, such as shamans to investigate orbs, ghosts, EVP, alternative healing, and other paranormal subjects. David Moody (born 19 November 1970) is an English horror writer. He first came to public attention with his book Autumn, published freely on-line in 2001. ''Autumn (2009 film), Autumn'' was made into a motion picture starring David Carradine and Dexter Fletcher which was released in 2009. ''Autumn'' is a 2009 Canadian horror film directed by Steven Rumbelow, written by David Moody and Rumbelow, and starring Dexter Fletcher. It was based on Moody's self-published novel ''Autumn''. Fletcher plays a schoolteacher who must survive in a post-apocalyptic world inhabited by evolving zombies. This was the final film of David Carradine before his death. Premise After a viral outbreak kills 99% of the world's population, scattered survivors come together and attempt to deal with the collapse of civilization. They face a new threat when the dead begin to reanimate. Initially catatonic, the corpses slowly regain their senses, become increasingly sensitive to outside stimuli, and show signs of aggression. The Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) is a major British theatre company, based in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, England.
