Steven Lustica
Steven Lustica ( hr, Luštica; born 12 April 1991) is an Australian soccer player who plays for Western United. He is of Croat heritage, his relative Slavko Luštica was a footballer at Hajduk Split. Club career Gold Coast On 24 April 2009, it was confirmed that Lustica had been signed by Gold Coast United, after impressing United's assistant coach, Paul Okon, during his tenure as under-18s coach at the Australian Olympic Youth Festival. On 19 September 2009, he made his senior debut for Gold Coast, coming off the bench in the 88th minute against Central Coast Mariners. Western Sydney Wanderers Football Club (colloquially known as Western Sydney, or simply as Wanderers) is an Australian professional soccer club based in the Western Sydney region of Sydney, New South Wales. Slavko Luštica
Slavko Luštica (11 January 1923 – 14 July 1992) was a footballer who represented Yugoslavia at the 1952 Summer Olympics. He played club football in Yugoslavia with NK Osvit and Hajduk Split. Playing career Club Born in a small fishing community in the Bay of Kotor, Luštica started playing youth football at NK Osvit based in Šibenik, moving to the senior team at only 13 but he was first noticed by the public when he played in the Yugoslavia youth team which beat the then-powerful Hungary youth selection in Belgrade. Soon after that he signed for Hajduk Split, where he spent the rest of his playing career. His official debut for the club was on 9.3.1941 in a 5–2 win against Concordia Zagreb. During WW2 he played in all of Hajduk's games after the club escaped (and was temporarily relocated) to the island of Vis in 1944. A-League Men (known as the Isuzu UTE A-League for sponsorship reasons) is the highest-level professional men's soccer league in Australia and New Zealand. NK Pomorac 1921 is a Croatian football club based in Kostrena, a suburb of Rijeka which currently plays in Croatian third tier 3. HNL West. Kostrena is known for its maritime tradition, which is reflected in the club's name, as the word " pomorac" means "mariner" or "seaman" in English.
