Steven Lin is a Taiwanese American classical pianist. Described by the New York Times for playing that is “...immaculately voiced and enhanced by admirable subtleties of shading and dynamics.” Lin has been awarded in several international piano competitions including the top prize winner of the Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition in 2014, 3rd prize at the 2012 William Kapell International Competition, the 1st prize at the 2012 Juilliard School’s Gina Bachauer Piano Scholarship Competition and International Tang Dynasty Piano Competition in New York in 2008. Baltimore Symphony Orchestra
The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra is an American symphony orchestra based in Baltimore, Maryland. The Baltimore SO has its principal residence at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall, where it performs more than 130 concerts a year. The Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition is an international piano competition specializing in the music championed by Arthur Rubinstein. The competition has been held every three years in Tel Aviv, Israel since 1974. History The Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition came into being in 1973, at the initiative of Jan Jacob Bistritzky, a close friend of Arthur Rubinstein, who was honored to give his name to the Competition.
