Steven Lennon
Steven Lennon (born 20 January 1988) is a Scottish footballer who plays as a forward for Þróttur ReykjavÃk, on loan from Besta-deild karla side FH. He has previously played for Rangers, Partick Thistle, Lincoln City, Dundalk, Newport County, Fram ReykjavÃk and Sandnes Ulf. Career Rangers Lennon was born in Irvine, North Ayrshire. He started off his career as a midfielder but changed to a striker, becoming a regular for the Rangers reserve team. He made his debut for the Rangers first team in a Scottish Premier League match against Inverness on 27 December 2006, coming on as a substitute for Nacho Novo. Lennon became known as a prolific goalscorer, scoring numerous goals for Rangers' under-19s in the 2006–07 season including a hat-trick in a 3–3 draw with Dundee United. Wayne Mervin Hatswell (born 8 February 1975) is an English former professional footballer and current assistant head coach at Walsall. Playing career Born in Swindon, Hatswell began his career with Swindon Supermarine and also played for Witney Town and Cinderford Town before joining Frank Gregan at Forest Green Rovers in 1999. During his first season at Forest Green, he made 34 league appearances, and two in the FA Cup scoring two goals. During his next season at Forest Green, he played a further 23 games, scoring five goals. At Forest Green, he became famous for scoring one of the worst ever own goals, when his attempted clearance went straight into his own net during an FA Cup match against Morecambe. The Scottish Football League (SFL) was a league featuring professional and semi-professional football clubs mostly from Scotland.One club, Berwick Rangers, is based in the town of Berwick-upon-Tweed, which is located approximately 4 km south of the Anglo-Scottish border. Chris Sutton
Christopher Roy Sutton (born 10 March 1973) is an English former professional football player and manager. He later became a pundit and commentator for BT Sport, regularly working on their coverage of Scottish football. He is now also a pundit and occasional match co-commentator on BBC Radio 5 Live. He played as a forward from 1991 to 2007 for Norwich City, Blackburn Rovers, Chelsea, Celtic, Birmingham City and Aston Villa. Sutton scored over 150 career goals in over 400 league appearances spanning 16 years in the English and Scottish Premier Leagues. He was capped once by England. He was also known as being one of the foremost exponents of the glancing header. He scored many goals with this technique which made him particularly effective from set-pieces. A hat-trick or hat trick is the achievement of a generally positive feat three times in a match, or another achievement based on the number three. Origin The term first appeared in 1858 in cricket, to describe H. H. Stephenson taking three wickets with three consecutive deliveries. Fans held a collection for Stephenson, and presented him with a hat bought with the proceeds. The term was used in print for the first time in 1865 in the ''Chelmsford Chronicle''.
