Steven Jeffress
Steven Jeffress (born 25 November 1975) is an Australian professional golfer. Jeffress was born in Taree, New South Wales, Australia. He turned professional in 1999. Jeffress has played on the PGA Tour of Australasia, Japan Golf Tour (2009 and 2014), and Asian Tour. He won his first PGA Tour of Australasia event in 2014 at the Fiji International. He is one of the few professional golfers to ever record a hole-in-one on a par 4 in a professional tournament at the 2007 New Zealand Open. The Masters Tournament (usually referred to as simply The Masters, or the U.S. Masters outside North America) is one of the four major championships in professional golf. The WGC-HSBC Champions was a professional golf tournament, held annually in China. Inaugurated in 2005, the first seven editions were played at the Sheshan Golf Club in Shanghai, then moved to the Mission Hills Golf Club in Shenzhen for a single year in 2012. Established in 1999 as a successor to the World Series of Golf, it was one of three or four annual World Golf Championships (WGC) until 2021, when the number of WGC events was reduced to two. Under sponsorship agreements, the WGC Invitational was titled as the WGC-NEC Invitational (1999–2005) and the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational (2006–2018).
