Steven Hetherington
Steven Hetherington (born 9 March 1993) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Alloa Athletic. He has spent the majority of his career in Scotland and has previously played for Motherwell, Airdrie United, Arbroath and Falkirk. He has also played for English non-league sides Celtic Nation and Crook Town. Career Hetherington started his football career at local club Hartlepool United, and was at Victoria Park up until July 2009, when SPL club Rangers signed him. He was immediately drafted into the under-19 team. His chances at Ibrox were limited, and he was released by the club in July 2011, after not making a single first team appearance. He was then given a trial at fellow SPL club Motherwell, and did enough to earn a short-term contract at the Fir Park club. Hartlepool
Hartlepool () is a seaside and port town in County Durham, England. It is the largest settlement and administrative centre of the Borough of Hartlepool. With an estimated population of 90,123, it is the second-largest settlement in County Durham. Keith Lasley
Keith William Robert Lasley (born 21 September 1979) is a Scottish retired football midfielder, who is currently the Chief Operating Officer of Scottish Premiership club St Mirren. During his playing career, Lasley played for Motherwell, Plymouth Argyle and Blackpool. Life and career According to '' Daily Record'' article, Lasley was born in Paisley, Scotland. However, the official Motherwell site lists his birthplace as Glasgow. He joined Motherwell in 1999 from Paisley side Gleniffer Thistle, but had to wait 18 months to make his first team debut. He established himself in the team during the 2001–02 season and played regularly up until leaving the club in the summer of 2004 when he chose to not renew his contract. 2014–15 Scottish Championship
The 2014–15 Scottish Championship is the 20th season in the current format of 10 teams in the second tier of Scottish football. Heart of Midlothian won the title on 22 March 2015 and secured their return to the Scottish Premiership with a record seven matches remaining, after Rangers defeated city rivals Hibernian 2–0. This marked the first time since the 1984-85 season that a side in the same division as an Old Firm club won a league title in Scotland. The Scottish Football League First Division was the second tier in the Scottish football league system between 1975 and 2013. History The First Division was introduced in 1975–76 to replace the old Scottish Football League Division Two, as the top flight of the Scottish Football League was renamed from Division One to Premier Division. The Scottish League Cup (also known as the Viaplay Cup for sponsorship reasons) is a football competition open to all Scottish Professional Football League (SPFL) clubs.
