Steven Mehrdad Beitashour ( ; fa, استیون مهرداد بیتآشور , ; born February 1, 1987) is a professional soccer player who currently plays as a right-back for Colorado Rapids. Born in the United States, he represented the Iran national team. Background Steven Beitashour was born to Edward and Pari Beitashour in San Jose, California. He has an older brother, Tony, and two sisters, Tina and Stephanie. His parents are both from Iran and moved to the United States in the 1960s. Patrick Daniel Tillman Jr. (November 6, 1976 – April 22, 2004) was an American professional football player in the National Football League (NFL) who left his sports career and enlisted in the United States Army in May 2002 in the aftermath of the September 11 attacks.
