Steve Pilgrim
Steve Pilgrim is an English former rugby union and rugby league footballer, who played rugby union for Wasps and England B. In 1993, Pilgrim was banned from rugby union for a year. At the time, the Rugby Football Union had a stance of banning players who played rugby league: at the time, league was a professional code and union was amateur. By playing as an anonymous triallist in a reserve match for Leeds, Pilgrim fell foul of the disciplinary code. Wasps RFC
Wasps Rugby Football Club is a professional rugby union team. They last played in Premiership Rugby, the top division of English rugby until being suspended on 12 October 2022. On 17 October 2022 the club entered administration, resulting in relegation to the RFU Championship, and all staff being made redundant. They exited administration on 16 December 2022. Founded in 1867 as Wasps FC, Wasps Football Club, from 1923 to 1996 they were based at Repton Avenue in Sudbury, London. The Leeds Rhinos are a professional rugby league club in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. The club was formed in 1870 as Leeds St John's and play in the Super League, the top tier of English rugby league. They have played home matches at Headingley Stadium since 1890. Charles Douglas Laughton (born 13 May 1944) is an English former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s, and coached in the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s.
