Steve Payne (footballer)
Stephen Payne (born 1 August 1975) is an English former footballer, He signed for FC Halifax Town in July 2008 but his first season was blighted by injury. Steve returned for the 2009–2010 season and played an integral part as FC Halifax Town won the league, wearing the captain's armband for most of it. Huddersfield is a market town in the Kirklees district in West Yorkshire, England. It is the administrative centre and largest settlement in the Kirklees district. The town is in the foothills of the Pennines. Macclesfield is a market town and civil parish in the unitary authority of Cheshire East in Cheshire, England. It is located on the River Bollin in the east of the county, on the edge of the Cheshire Plain, with Macclesfield Forest to its east; it is south of Manchester and east of Chester.
