First-class cricket, along with List A cricket and Twenty20 cricket, is one of the highest-standard forms of cricket. A first-class match is one of three or more days' scheduled duration between two sides of eleven players each and is officially adjudged to be worthy of the status by virtue of the standard of the competing teams. Twenty20 (T20) is a shortened game format of cricket. At the professional level, it was introduced by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) in 2003 for the inter-county competition. In a Twenty20 game, the two teams have a single innings each, which is restricted to a maximum of 20 overs. Together with first-class and List A cricket, Twenty20 is one of the three current forms of cricket recognised by the International Cricket Council (ICC) as being at the highest international or domestic level. The 2011–12 Big Bash League season or BBL, 01 was the inaugural season of the Big Bash League, the premier Twenty20 cricket competition in Australia. The tournament replaced the KFC Twenty20 Big Bash, which ran each season from 2005–06 to 2010–11. The tournament was won by the Sydney Sixers, which defeated the Perth Scorchers in the final at the WACA Ground on 28 January 2012. The 2012 Hong Kong Cricket Sixes was the eighteenth edition of the Hong Kong Cricket Sixes, took place at Kowloon Cricket Club, Hong Kong.
