Steve Olliges
Steve Olliges is an American off-road racer from Las Vegas, Nevada. He has over 30 class wins and 7 championship titles to his credit in the SCORE International and Best in the Desert racing series. Olliges continues to reside in Las Vegas, Nevada, with his wife and their two children. Childhood Growing up in Nevada, Olliges realized his passion for the desert and off-road racing at an early age. His parents, Ed and Patty Olliges, are the owners of Friendly Ford in Las Vegas. With the combination of desert terrain and Blue Oval loyalty it was only natural that Steve would gravitate towards a sport that combined his automotive heritage with the landscape of his hometown. At eleven years old, Olliges was invited to attend the legendary Mint 400 race by the late Gordon Grimus, author of The Off-Road Racer. Rob MacCachren
Rob MacCachren (born March 24, 1965) is an American off-road racer from Las Vegas, Nevada. MacCachren won over 200 off-road races including five editions of the Baja 1000. He raced the Mickey Thompson Stadium Series early in his career and went on to win championships in Championship Off-Road Racing (CORR), SCORE International, SODA, and Best in the Desert (BITD). MacCachren won his 200th event at Crandon International Off-Road Raceway at the 2012 World Championship Pro 2 race. He has won 20 championships during his racing career, including three BorgWarner World Championships and the 2008 CORR Pro-2 championship. Baja 1000
The Baja 1000 is an annual Mexican off-road motorsport race held on the Baja California Peninsula. It is one of the most prestigious off-road races in the world, having attracted competitors from six continents. The race was founded by Ed Pearlman in 1967 and is sanctioned by SCORE International. The race is the final round of a four-race annual series, which also includes the San Felipe 250, the Baja 400 and the Baja 500. The 2017 Baja 1000 marked the 50th anniversary of the race. Scott Taylor (born September 15, 1955) is a retired American professional off-road racing driver from Belvidere, Illinois. His off-road racing career began in 1974 with buggies and his career peaked in the premiere two-wheel-drive truck class called Pro2. He retired from driving after the completion of the 2013 Traxxas TORC Series (TORC) Heavy Metal race at Crandon.
