Steve Moses
Steve Christopher Moses (born August 9, 1989) is an American professional ice hockey forward currently under contract with Swiss club, SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers of the National League (NL). He has also previously played in the KHL with Russian champions SKA Saint Petersburg. Quickness, scoring ability and shooting are considered to be the strongest sides of his gameplay, though his small size is considered a disadvantage in one-on-one situations. Playing career Amateur From 2005 to 2008, Moses played junior hockey with Boston Junior Bruins in Eastern Junior Hockey League (EJHL) and Empire Junior Hockey League (EmJHL). In the EJHL, Moses tallied a total of 96 points in 97 games. 2012–13 SM-liiga Season
The 2012–13 SM-liiga season was the 38th season of the SM-liiga, the top level of ice hockey in Finland, since the league's formation in 1975. The title was won by Ässät Pori who defeated Tappara Tampere in the finals. Teams * Head coaches marked with ‡ took their jobs mid-season. Regular season Each team played four times against every other team (twice home and twice away), getting to 52 games. Additionally, the teams were divided to two groups, where teams would play one extra game. Hartford Wolf Pack
The Hartford Wolf Pack are a professional ice hockey team based in Hartford, Connecticut. A member of the American Hockey League (AHL), they play their home games at the XL Center. The team was established in 1926 as the Providence Reds. After a series of relocations, the team moved to Hartford in 1997 as the Hartford Wolf Pack. It is one of the oldest professional hockey franchises in existence, and the oldest continuously operating minor league hockey franchise in North America. The American Hockey League (AHL) is a professional ice hockey league based in the United States and Canada that serves as the primary Minor league#Ice hockey, developmental league for the National Hockey League (NHL). In team sports, a most valuable player award, abbreviated 'MVP award', is an honor typically bestowed upon an individual (or individuals, in the instance of a tie) whose individual performance is the greatest in an entire league, for a particular competition, or on a specific team. Barry Almeida (born November 20, 1988) is a retired Americans, American professional ice hockey Centre (ice hockey), center who last played for the Worcester Railers of the ECHL. The Hockey East Association, also known as Hockey East, is a college ice hockey conference which operates entirely in New England. It participates in the NCAA's Division I as a hockey-only conference. Hockey East came into existence in 1984 for men's hockey when most of its current members split from what is today known as ECAC Hockey, after disagreements with the Ivy League members. The New Hampshire Wildcats men's ice hockey team is a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I college ice hockey program that represents the University of New Hampshire. The Wildcats are a member of Hockey East. They play at the Whittemore Center Arena in Durham, New Hampshire. History Early years The first New Hampshire ice hockey team played in January 1925, winning its first two games in a contest held in Lewiston, Maine. A year later, under the stewardship of Ernest Christensen, UNH played its first home game at the UNH ice rink, an outdoor facility that was completely dependent on cold weather for its surface.
